Life is tough for Pakistani students in the UK nowadays. With the recession biting, high rents and fewer jobs, expectations and reality often clash. Drawing from friends’ experiences, I share how hard it is to secure part-time jobs and decent pay right now with the economic downturn.
The expectations and reality often don’t match up. Rents eat up the bulk of earnings while trying to support families back home.
Rather than rack up debt for subpar prospects, I offer alternatives. One can gain in-demand skills like #AI programming and work remotely from Pakistan for attractive dollar salaries abroad.
With sound advice and realistic expectations, Pakistani students can evaluate if studying in the UK makes sense now

i graduate from china as electrical engineer. my father said me go to uk but i did,t. i started work online as AI and electronic design engineer. alhumdillah after 2 years i have own electronic manufacturing plant in turkey now .later i want move back to china .

I as an int. student in uk. Totally agree with you. I came here second time for my masters. My suggestion is look for Australia, Canada or Hungary or any other country. There is too much saturation especially Indian students in last two years. I have heard a lot of positive feedback from people in Hungary and u can work 30hrs/week and most people get job while they r students.

I don’t recommend Canada, I’m not sure about Hungary either although I visited that country. My recommendation is Australia specially for unskilled work I know kids doing well there working odd jobs.
