Thinkin' Things Collection 3 Gameplay Thinkin' Things Collection 3 is a game created by Edmark Corporation and Riverdeep Interactive Learning Limited in 1997. It is the third game of the Thinkin' Things Collection series.
There's also Thinkin Things Galactic Brain Benders. Which is just a reskinned version of this game for later versions of Windows. They even put the octopus in a robot-like space suit, and made the map black & white. However just about everything else is the same. It wasn't much of a reskin.

Having this as a kid was something else. That custom marble board creator was the best thing ever to me at the time. And that band / cheer-leading "programming" must have been my first introduction to simulators. Which explains why I'm obsessed with conway's game of life and similar these days.
Ah, childhood memories. Used to have this game a long time ago. I definitely spent weekend mornings playing it. I wonder if I can still download and play such games? :)
Also the my favourite thing to do with the art one was to get the woman with the hat at 19:59 and constantly have the twins stretch her mouth and the pump guy inflate her eyeball. Hilarious
A simple version of advanced Photoshop effects in a kids game? That's incredible! So is having a simple visual programming system in the form of a half time show!
IMO this was my least favorite game in the Thinking Things trilogy. All the characters and games seen in the first 2 collections (except for the Fripples) were not seen in this game. It still had a cool intro though.

Do you think its possible for old games like Thinking Things 3 and Reader Rabbit to be updated for newer computers? With how much more powerful PCs are these days, these older games should function well on them.
@@nemesisurvivorleon Hi Ryan! Yeah I love this type of content as a kid years before I knew the word edutainment and thanks for replying to a 6 year old comment hehe
+Gabby Neill This was running under Virtual PC using Windows 2000, which makes the sound a bit choppy at times. I apologize for this. Unfortunately that's a Virtual PC problem.
