I love it! People need to understand that a cover is not trying to replace the original! They are both amazing! A cover is to make a song your own while appreciating the original.

-Ok, this isn't a criticism, but your voices worked really worked well together and also didn't somehow. That's probably just me. But something about this just didn't feel right, but I also thought it went really well. Whatever, I'm probably crazy.- Never mind. I think I'm crazy. :/

You guys have wonderful voices and this is a nice version :) But the original is so dear to me, your cover doesn't capture all the emotions of the song, in my opinion. I'm not hating, I like the cover and the tone of both of your voices is beautiful, it just doesn't fully live up to the song, contrary to most of your other work, I find.

I'd just like to say- this is incredible. I've been waiting for a Max/Madilyn cover for literally ever, and I can't say how happy I was when I saw this video pop up in my feed. This cover even reduced me to tears, and that doesn't happen often. Due to the large amount of tears flowing from my eyes, I can barely even write this comment. Both of you just make me forget life for the duration of the video, I forget the troubles and hardships and for those 3 minutes, everything's perfect. That's a hard thing to achieve. Well done, just, well done ❤️

This original song has a special melody that perfectly toes with the lyrics. Personally, this cover takes away the real beauty of the song. I think that these two amazing artists would have made the original sound terrific. Opinions opinions don't kill me for them

I like max as a singer but I feel in this song he almost "whispers"? Maybe that's the word? Too much...on the powerful parts, belt that shit! They both have the talent to do it! And also I get tired of the fluctuating voice( falsetto) too much...it's good when used in moderation

I'm sorry but I did not enjoy the cover. I am a huge huge fan of both of yous but there was just something off when it came to the harmonies. Also, Ed has so much soul in this song and I felt like that was missing. I would've rather you both do it individually as your voices are so different.
