Pretty much impossible to go to a free show anywhere around this time ( at the Roundhouse, Hyde Park, Parliament Hill Fields etc) and NOT see The Third Ear Band or the Broughtons or Quintessence. Happy days
@@nn-ro1lv I remember seeing Hawkwind on Scrubs Common.....they could have walked home from there pretty much. I know Keith Christmas' name ever so well but I honestly can't remember ever seeing him. Doesn't mean I didn't, I just can't remember :-)
@@nn-ro1lv It's always interestng to have one's memory jogged. For example, I remember seeing the Pink Fairies at the old Kensington Town Hall on the High street in about 1973 I guess. Larry Wallis was playing through a Dual Showman and was INCREDIBLY loud. Gong supported them and were most entertaining :-)
