Hi, on my last Third Eye Blind cover of The Background I was requested to try Wounded! So here it is! :) Originally it was going to be just one guitar and vocals but I ended up getting carried away and added a lot more instruments and backing vocals! :P Tuning is DADEAC#. Intro inspired from 3eb Poughkeepsie performance from 2007.

Wow this was great! This is hands down my fav 3EB song. This just sounded good. I love how Stephen uses percussive sounds and rhythm in his vocals and you nailed it! The falsetto was great. It really sounded like 3EB meets Sgt Peppers. Wonderful and exciting to listen to.

Yeah, i like that performance! Actually there was a soundboard recording released to the fans from Poughkeepsie and it inspired this :) I really like that Poughkeepsie set.

Hi Chris, I cant guarantee it but I have been thinking of trying to be more active on youtube and doing a tutorial of this song would be at the top of my list. I want to make sure i do a better job than the background lesson i done. Hi, I have been a fan for a long time so naturally you see/hear what other people have done or work out the tuning of different songs over time. I have written down all the official tunings for the 1st three albums.

Matt, I'm not sure how to send you a private message. You are absolutely phenomenal. This is by far the best cover of Wounded I've heard. As you may know, the 20th anniversary for 3eb's self-titled is in April 2017. I've wanted to do an entire acoustic cover of that album for a long time now, but I do not own the guitar skills a project like this entails. Are you interested in collaborating on a full acoustic cover of Third Eye Blind's self titled? I think your vocals are a perfect addition, as well. I feel we would feet off each other well.
