Johnson came into this series being awarded as the icc cricketer of the year and icc test cricketer of the year, on back of splendid ashes where he simply destroyed England picking around 40 wickets and these two tear him apart like newbee
@@sahilrana5219 shut up u dumb bustard t20 is Not even cricket its a pure joke just like you are And far as odi considered aus dont play odis in that number. Virat kohli as a leader is pure love Already in my top 5 But as a batsman he is damm good player already one of the greats in odi format. But indian media try best to hate australian players like that famous indian bustard vikrant gupta do who say starc is done and dusted and instead always lick ass of Wasim akram great bowler but A great match fixer too.
But we indians want Rohit or any other inexperienced player to replace him , sheer talent is wasted, those were the days when I enjoyed cricket a lot when rahane played well but now pujara is playing better than Kohli that time rahane .
Miss this Rahane now!! 😥😥😥 What a strokeplayer he was!! Crisp timing. And today he has just became an average batsman😥!! Hope he does well in Australia tour in 2018.
Babar is no doubt a good player, he always played good innings agnaist India when both team played match, but it's not good to compare them both now. Babar has a long way to go.
This test series made me realize that he won't go down as just a legendary cricketer but as one of the greatest ever in the game. This performance was too good to be true
i somehow noticed that rahane looks comfortable when virat is batting with him. after virat got out rahane sometimes panic and throw his wicket. we saw that in wtc final. in eng series if virat get his form then rahane also will.
@@abhijeetsinghbhadouriya5536 Dhoni never performed in overseas, you'll hardly find his knocks like one vs clint Mckay and one vs SL in tri series, most of his great knocks came in India.
The 2014-15 border-gavaskar series established Kohli as one of the greatest batsman of modern era. Although India lost that series, but the way Indian batters dominated the Aussie bawlers throughout the series. that was just phenomenal. such a memorable series that was!!!
It's been 4 years but India hasn't improved middle order performance. It seems like batsman becomes nervous or what but wickets fall very quickly after Kohli.
I have watched this video 20-25 times and every time have a feeling that India could have won. And what would have happen it would have one of the best test match..
I still remember watching this match and the superb partnership between Rahane and Kohli. They just dominated the Aussies in this Boxing day Test match. Kohli was in top form scoring 4 hundreds in Australia in this series after a horrendous tour of England. Kohli and Smith were in omnious form scoring hundreds for fun in this series. Mitchell Johnson had destroyed the poms a year back in the Ashes series and it's so delightful to watch these two young batters plunder Johnson who was at his peak. KL Rahul, who had been brought into this squad on the back of a stellar run in the Ranji trophy , made his test debut in this match at the MCG. He goes onto score his maiden test 100 in the next match at the SCG.
Lmao u Indians are so up yourself. Watch Virat not even get 50 after nicking behind like he always does. It will be a shame that he will leave for the rest of the series so our bowlers can’t terrorise him any more.
@@blissfulnikhil25 umm well he did in in Australia 2020 in all formats as well and in the first ind vs eng series all formats this year as well...but he didn't score any centuries
I remember being woke up in the morning and switching on the TV with Rahane and Virat smashing Jhonson on the short balls. It was hard to believe at first that this was really happening considering how lethal Jhonson was against England with the very same short balls a year ago.
