Just moved to North Dakota from Alaska. I have not caught a Muskellunge since 1986. Been watching you since I can remember. I’ve taken up making my own tackle. Musky tackle on a budget. Can’t wait to hook one. I’m inspired. My goal is to catch my first since 1986😎and break my 36” PB.
Patrolling for pigs in Northern Wisconsin getting dark greenies is nice but there's just something about the color on those fish in southern Wisconsin and the bay that are beautiful!
Beautiful fish! Definitely over 40lbs. A tip from someone that fishes alone for Muskies most of the time, for over 40 years...duct tape a length of bungee cord with a d-ring on the end off the end of your net handle. Then when you land a fish, put the bag on one side of the boat the stretch the bungee across to the cleat on the opposite site. You'll never lose a net or fish in the net, and it makes the net hands-free so you have both hands to deal with the fish.
