For sure the LMNT needs to be mixed with 32oz and it’s 👌🏼 try it on a full bottle and y’all will enjoy. I even mixed it with a Mtn Ops ignite to combine the caffeine and electrolytes.

I drank liquid iv for a long time, but I drink about 2-3 pouches a day, has to much sugar and holds a lot of water weight. We switched to the lmnt maybe 5 months ago. Most flavors are good, I use one pouch for a big smart water bottle to make it not so salty.

Definitely like the numbers for LMNT, using more water will definitely help eliminate the overly salty taste.

Hey Boys, great video. I appreciate all your videos and product reviews. One area that can totally squash any type of outdoor activity is lack of proper hydration and electrolytes. Amino Acids like L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, L-Valine, Glycine, L-Glutamine and Taurine are very important in addition to the very basic Magnesium, Potassium, Thiamine, Vit B12 and 6, Calcium and Sodium. Sodium can be tricky because with a lot our meals that we eat, Mtn House and Peak Refuel, already containing a ton of sodium, you need to balance out the amt of sodium you are putting in your body. So finding an electrolyte hydration that works is tricky. BioSteel is one that contains No sugar, has low sodium, contains five key electrolytes and amino Acids. It comes in small packets which dissolves in 8-10 oz of water.. Check it out, the National Hockey League supports it and so do many pro and amatuer athletes. I have used it a lot. Hope this helps

Thank you! This is a great tip. I have always wondered if we are getting enough sodium just by eating the food that we pack in. Most likely we are getting too much, that is a great point. I will look into the BioSteel!

If you want a super clean option without the extra sugar, etc look at Sol Supplements - Sol Salt. You get used to the mineral taste pretty quick. I had been using liquid IV for years and switched over earlier this year for a cleaner option.

You're missing the point on the Tailwind Enurance Fuel. It's 200 calories!! When you look at it from the standpoint that it's 200 calories that you can drink, in that small of a package, it's amazing stuff. Especially for those that don't like to eat when exercising/hiking but need to maintain energy.

Yeah, I get that. I think its more geared towards people who are doing ultra's and extreme endurance races. It is just too big and bulky to pack a bunch of those on an extended backpack hunt. Plus they don't taste that great imo.

LMT needs more water fellas and a bit of time to mix/dissolve. It’s the cleanest on the market with Redmond Re-Lyte a close 2nd.

Lmnt is what’s I’ve found to work the best for me. Been drinking it for years on my thru hikes. Raspberry lmnt and Mix a 1/4 pack of blue raspberry starburst drink mix is incredible. It can be really salty if you aren’t used to it but add a little more water. Actually a benefit bc it’s so much electrolytes in such a small package it says a ton of weight and space over most other options out there.
