@mannyesco5232 what an ignorant comment to make children are in foster care for a variety or reasons like abuse, drug addiction, negligence and many other issues the parents have. I feel sorry for you because with an ignorant comment like that it’s easy to tell you are very unhappy with your own life that you have to pick on a 13 yr old girl. 🙄
Sometimes there are no other family members, or sometimes the other family members don’t have the means to take care of a child, or CPS may not approve of their family members taking them. There are all kinds of reasons why children end up in foster care and most of the time it is not because of a child’s actions.
Bless her heart! Beautiful young lady give her scholarship and set up a fund for her....she will realize that focusing on self improvement will get her way farther than any "family" will give! Love you lil sister
