Once the image has been scaled to the doodle grid you could in theory project it a section at a time using the doodle grid as a reference for locating and scaling the image to the new location.
Lmao was about to comment this, it’s what I thought he was going to do- When he started drawing without it I was like… wait- what? Something for next time tho 😛
i would love to hear an actual album from Ten Hundred . the sounds tracks you do for these things are always awesome and i dont think people realise how much extra effort it takes
i ant going gate keep if ya want some of ten huns beats. They are on sound cloud names P Smoov but most are from his older vids still some real good tunes tho that I listen on a the reg. personally my favourite is Sayonara beat goes hard!
The fact that you make banger art and then take the time to make and drop Banger music always blows my mind! I'm gonna be singing "We're gonna grab a brush hurry up." All Day
How are you so good at so many different media. Digital art? Check. Traditional art? Check. Video production? Check. Music production? Check. Like come on. It takes so many hours just to master one of those things!
He delegates the video production now. But the fact is he has an addictive personality and that drives him to be persistently working on everything he’s interested in.
Some people think outside the box, I just spin it in circles @@TenHundred . Thanks for continuing to pump out these amazing videos. This one brought me back to when I was first discovering and exploring your channel. Congratulations on your success and ongoing adventures!
I also solved a projector size issue in a TV helmet/costume I built, I used a mirror to double the throw distance of the light, doubling the image size. You might need a big mirror, but worth the saved effort!
@@coreyryan27 this is exactly how we do it in pro AV for events. In this situation he only needed a few extra feet, so a 4-5' mirror probably would've done the trick. Also @TenHundred you can totally rent projectors for short turn needs like this if you know about it in advance. Your finished product turned out amazing either way though!
Awesome mural aside, the narrative bangers you use in your videos are top notch. I'm going to have "i'm gonna grab a brush, grab a brush" stuck in my head all day, and I'm not mad at it.
Everything about this was fun - the colors, the song, the family and the final mural! I love the textures and the 3-dimensionality of the pixel portal.
6:39 this song now lives rent free in my head... I wish I could listen to it all day, it's such a banger also absolutely love the motivational notes in your videos, always such a joy
We visited your Long Beach mural a couple years ago and it was incredible. You just keep getting better. As always, love your colors and shading and design. Amazing work! Hi to the fam and the team!
Your daughter is so cute 😊and the security guard looked so awkward 😂L oved the pixelated effects, it made the mural so much cool and tied in well with the the company.
This video reminds me of how I first found you and your art! Crazy full circle moment reflecting on how much I’ve supported you since seeing an initial video of you painting a mural in an office building years ago.
Painting with brushes definitely is a lot slower than spray cans but it allows for so much more details. The pixelation would have been much more difficult if you were only using spray paint. The next time you can't spray anything you might want to put down the rough base colors where there belong with a paint roller. You would likely have to redraw the design but it would save a lot of time not having to put so many additional coats by brush.
I don't understand why they wouldn't want their name said in a video where they are getting badass art. You'd think they'd want to brag about how cool their taste in artist is.
Design and process are amazing as always, but the most significant part of this video to me is that you took your wife and daughter with you as seen in the airplane. It's so good to see influencers and artists dedicated to family. That is another positive influence your videos might be having on viewers. Keep up the high values and work ethic.
Great work as always. I have an idea that may help you with your stencil application in the future when you aren't feeling the doodle grid or your projector isn't working the way you want/can't work for tight areas. Take you concept art, create just an outline then add a grid section over it, blow up the proportions to be in scale with your wall, then print off the entire project or take it to a commercial printing place and have a large transfer sticker (the way tattoo artists do stencils) and apply it in sections, each sheet gets a letter and number to be easily applied and saves you a ton of time. Your team can help you lay down the stencil while you paint. The time to create the stencil and the cost to make it all get added to your clients total, it may end up costing extra in material cost/prep time but will probably cut down a huge chunk of wasted time creating doodles and fighting with projectors.
Wow another Awesome Mural. You inspire me :) seeing were you started to were you are now is an amazing journey I've watched many of your video's keep the artistic flame blazing for all the world to see. Your an amazing artist Ten :)
I used to make my bigger murals with a traditional grid, but also with projection. You could also divide your image into the parts that the beamer can project. Than draw the large rectangles on the wall and project into these rectangles and it should match up. That Rainbow Flow is one of the best parts! Glad you added that.
I found this joyous to watch. Loved getting to see you push your style with a client who it seems let you do your own thing...and they've ended up with an amazing piece for giving you that freedom! Id love to see more pixel / cubist takes on your style if its something you enjoyed making. Thanks for the smiles and warm fuzzies :)
Love this! If I worked there, I would have had the hardest time doing work instead of spending my time chatting with you and watching you guys paint. This turned out amazing!
Can’t lie- genuine excitement seeing this type of vid from you drop! You doing what you do- the cutest family & assistant- yeah! They’re a lucky Fortune 500 company indeedly !
i believe there is a projector from Samsung that can be placed almost anywhere, including on the floor of that wall, and be able to adjust the size of the screen. Not sure if it would work on a wall that big, but it might be something to look into
The mural looks great and I'm so happy for your success! I've been a big fan for such a long time, though I have to admit I got a little nervous when you were describing what the company is doing, PLEASE Peter, tell us you're not platforming harmful AI "toolsets", these companies are training these tools with stolen work from the greater artist community.
Considering him rolling back on supporting NFTs I’m really hoping he’s not working with AI tools and companies. Time will tell? I think a lot of the artists who support him would be pretty disappointed
Never thought oh the loose doodle method when working with larger scales pieces. Also the work you did for this office brotha is incredible like always !!!
crushed this one! so impressive on top of all the studio videos and other projects to just go zip out and crush this... and the video.. and theirs a cliff hanger for next wall.... chefs kiss
Gr8 looking mural piece amigo...luv all the colors & characters chosen for this piece!! Keep the videos & cre8ivity coming!! Til next tyme...keep those cre8ive juices abrewing!!!
So if you put the projector with its back to the wall and the beam goes into a mirror which is pointing at the wall, you can double the length of the beam wich will result in a larger image while not needing more distance. There will be some shadow of the projector in the way, but depending on the angle (which you can counteract with the built-in tilt feature of most projectors), this works.
Your little musical interludes are sick, my dude! I know it's a lot of work, but they really add to the emotion. The visual art, the aural art - you're a modern day renaissance man.
Dude - amazing work! I live in the SWMich - I'm a wedding a Portrait photographer - If you ever need portraits, another person helping shoot or even family photos - I'd love to help. Really dig your work and all that you're doing on RU-vid. Keep creating kickass work man!!!
When is 'Grab a Brush' gonna be on spotify? Kidding of course lol, appreciate the awesome videos you do and all the work you put in on the video editing as well.
The brush song, just as a pic as the artwork :) Inspiring as always and love seeing how your original characters and style is always evolving and making spaces so much cooler!
I would just project pieces of the artwork, in the right places one at the time, on the wall after being done with doodle grid instead. I've done that a few times and it worked. Nice murals too! and the gig's great!
Nicely done I was going to comment about the projector, but others have beat me to it! Well you have the next mural to do, maybe you will have a chance to read comments before you start? Grand mural Peter, thanks for showing us all how it is done!
You could also use a program like HeavyM that is used for projection mapping. That way you could be way off to one side and then just stretch it to be straight on the wall. It would totally work.
I'm gonna guess its Microsoft given the Proximity to Seattle or another tech company. redwood I believe is just outside Seattle I think Always good to see new artwork
