I had a scooter that went 45 mph - I was certain every day to work that it would be my last day on earth. That speed is WAY more scary than imaginable on a small ride.
Oh yeah! I got this one up to 60MPH going downhill. Absolutely insane that we drive this speed and faster everyday in a car. Obviously they’re built to be more protective but still. It really puts speed into perspective.
This scooter really is the greatest, and among the greatest mechanical and electrical engineering masterpieces of an electric scooter! i received my segway gt2 megatron edition last week. everything good that is stated on the internet about these scooters is true! its a rocket ship with boost, and walk modes :) and among the most stable and easy to ride scooters i have ridden. without any modifications, this scooter ships both ready to race, and ready for commuting. Great work segway!
@@TfyallLookingAt oh yeah his fault he forgot a toddler could write 500 different items down….. 😂 buddy it’s just a comment don’t get too hard over it 😂
As soon as I see this guy I know he's reviewing only the best! Never disappointed in his presentation or any of the products he is blessing with his one of a kind narrative!
It’s actually extremely stable. I even took it up to 60MPH going downhill. No speed wobbles, and the suspension ok this holds the road with such ease. Definitely scary though.
Just out of interest why do you say that? It would be a worse outcome falling from a motorcycle at the same speed if on both occasions you were wearing the same protective gear.
I had an electric bike that was modified to go 70mph, but I pushed it to 87mph once according to its top speed recording. Staying Alive is definitely an appropriate song for a SCOOTER that goes 45mph
Love how it plays Stayin' Alive by the Bee Gees... ...the song that is a metronome used during CPR, which you will need if you crash at full speed with this thing 😂
If you haven’t ridden on a fast electric scooter you need to, I went my whole life thinking they were lame and just rode my bikes but they are so much fun you’ve got to try it out!
Your reviews are straight, to the point and with a lot of personality. Keep up the good work and the way you're doing your reviews as it's very refreshing.
Water proof? Great I definitely plan on swimming 🏊♀️ in the ocean with this. 43mph sheesh better install a roll bar cage on that thing an accident at that speed would be fatal
It’s actually crazy that around 100 years ago we were launching the revolutionary Model T with a top speed of around 42 mph, now we’re doing that on an electric scooter 😂
Segway has great innovative ideas that other companies make practical and affordable. Looking forward to seeing what other companies do with this scooter.
You guys should definitely check out Ange the greats video about his engine simulator being utilized in EV dirt bikes. It’s much better engine sounds but also accurately simulated power curves and feedback from things like changing gears and using a clutch on an EV. It would really take this scooter to the next level.
Bro that things still got some nicer features then the high end scooters out today like on the wolf king GTR why don’t the turn singles shut off on their own?!?! 😂
I hope they give you a show by some major networks soon because it’s exciting the way you explain things I hated electric cars until I saw your reviews on them.
if someone is looking for an electric scooter, I don't recommend this one. I personally recommend the varla eagle one for anyone looking for a decently priced and good electric scooter. It's 1,500, and can be taken off-road. It also has some good suspension and goes 40 mph. do some more research on it if you would like one
I used to charge the bird scooters in my city & I would take them out for spins to make sure everything worked. One day I hit a wet patch of leaves (it was dark.) I flew 5ft and thought I broke my arm. I’d say max speed was around 15-20mph. I couldn’t imagine taking a spill at 45mph lol
