I can't help but smile at each one of these vids. 18 years ago I proposed to my girlfriend (now wife) on the Coral Coast near Sigatoka. My fondest memories are of the kids and how kind everyone was. I cannot wait to go back there.

English is 1 of 3 official languages in Fiji. In school, they speak english and alot of Fijian people work in Tourism so speaking English is very normal in Fiji.

Pawpaw, guava, mango, coconut- when I was their age, I was always in the trees, most island kids are. Lol, I'd give my poor grandmother small heart attacks everytime. 🤦🏾‍♀️🤭

Love your video. It reminds me of my younger years back in my old country that we did the same. I am 58 years old now. See how the kids take care of themselves in the wood. That is human survival instinct.

Another wonderful and gentle video Jin. My childhood was like this in the 1950's and 60's with endless freedom to play and explore my world and that gave me a deep longing to travel and explore further. Now in my 70's I have been to 5 continents and lived and worked in over 80 countries. So grateful for the opportunity.
