Very cool to actually see 4-5 Shermans engaging 3-4 German tanks at short range in this game. I think a lot of the studies during WW2 found that kind of engagement was quite common for the Western Allies and it was pretty common for it to play out like it did here: Shermans with better situational awareness (aim time) usually managing to shoot first, hit first, and get the enemy in the side armor. It's rare to actually get tanks working in platoon sized units like that simply because of how normal map size and income work so that's a real treat!

Whilst there are some discrepancies. I think in general SD2 does a fantastic job of representing warfare in real time between certain types of units.

I think the 17 pounder is the best AT gun, it can just kill everything (except for KT ofcourse).

Still a novice player -- how does Line of Sight interact with Anti-Air? How much clearance do you need to shoot beyond that hedgerow?

Just don't have them pushed up ON the hedgerow, have them back a little zoom in and see if they can 'see' over it

Maybe all your bad luck with the piat is being balanced by me. I have managed to kill a KT with one, although the player it belonged to drove it alone next to a forest, BUT, I snuck a piat armed recon squad into some heavy cover near a spot where this guy was rolling his tanks up a hill to take shots then back down to avoid the at gun fire. Before the squad was killed, it took out two panthers and one tiger! Lost the game overall, but that was awesome.
