Bought off the showroom floor in 1990 and basically coming off the showroom floor nearly 30 years later. This little minibike isn't perfect, but it's been given new life and is ready for a new home.
If you are new, the goal is to fix up a used/trashed dirtbike, make it look great and function just as well and then re-sell it to earn as much profit as possible.
This will be a short rebuild series and I will outline the cost of parts and the total profit made on flipping a bike like this. I've got a TTR125, CR250, CR125 and YZ125 all in the works.

Nice job man. I just got a 99 for my 10 year old that had a frozen motor, after getting it free looks like no compression with a frame and body that's comparable to yours. I'll be going deep as a father/son project. I am going to have my son watch you videos, I hope that he finds them motivational.

Hi Jourdon. May I ask if you remember where you got the needle bearing for the fork stem? I am rebuilding an XR80 now and this is one hurdle I need to overcome.

I believe rockymountainatvmc.com had a kit that upgraded the original ball bearing to the needle bearing.

I restored a 1991 XR80 two years ago. Great little bikes for kids. Unfortunately is it too little power to work as a pitbike for an adult rider.

94. Getting ready to xr70 fender it for better proportions and swap my 16” front to a xr70 14” so I’ll be running 14”s all the way around. Doing a mini motard build with it.
