As an older guy who has owned numerous pickups over the years; I am glad to see the side steps. The past 15+ years these Fords keep getting higher & higher. I'm average height but can not reach over the bed to grab something on the floor. LOVE the color. Makes me wish I had waited a year except for the price increase & I had to wait 7 months to get my F350. They're running about $5 -7k more for the same truck as well.
@@huntauto One thing I will add, is the large increase in base price at least includes a lot of options from 2022, including some from the platinum. I think the F250 Lariat went up $9k or so, but that now has everything the 2022 lariat ultimate had + a few other options, made up about $5-6k of the 9k increase... cost is relative if you really dive into the details. I love the side steps as well, truck was for my wife, glad she has easier access into the bed as well. We went Carbonized Gray, but the Azure color is beautiful 🙂
I bought a 2023 F350 Tremor Lariat with the High Output diesel. After careful consideration I opted to not get the ultimate package because I felt it was just a bunch of extra fluff that I wouldn’t really use. But then again I also got the carpet delete option 😂. I guess at 55 it was just too much for me to learn. However the head up display is really nice but I couldn’t tint my windshield or wear polarized sunglasses with it.
Beautiful truck. I really love the redesign, front end and all. I'm still waiting for a build date on my '23 silver F350 Lariat with the ultimate package. I have a feeling I'll be waiting for a very long time.
THANK YOU for showing the Payload on the Door Sticker!! And I like that color as well!... Can't wait to see the Tremor...hopefully you guys get in a F350 Tremor with 7.3 Godzilla! 250 Tremor would be nice too!!... Thank you again for continuing to show the Payload on the Door Sticker!!
Anybody that spends that much money and doesn't get the adaptive cruise will kick themselves later.I bought a 2021 F150 XLT with adaptive cruise and I love it. It is a must have worth waiting for.
Still trying to see if i like that color or not. I almost ordered one in that color and may have if I could have seen one in person 1st. 👍👍bed steps. I know they ripped them off from GM but it is a great idea. Not much different than 50 years ago when you could get a step side bed from ANY manufacturer. The tailgate step is useless when towing and that's what I will be using mine for. Also, a lot easier to hook up a 5th wheel or goosneck.
Ordered a limited last October in this color. AZG is definitely different, and although on the fence when I first saw it, I'm definitely sticking with it. Different than the eternally boring sea of white, black, gray, red silver trucks by the hundreds on each and every block.
I think it’s mildly amusing that the tow technology package is actually a snitch package. Its sole purpose of design is for those of you who are overloading your trucks, your warranties will be null and void. I believe all the truck manufacturers are going in that direction.
You mean the onboard scales package, that is not part of the tow tech package. I was thinking the same thing, imagine going 10 pounds over in payload and the truck refuses to move 😂😂😂. Ford engineers built a 20 percent overload into the design (as do all engineers)….you just don’t know it.
Like the truck, but down here in central Florida Ford dealership stopped taking orders on anything above XLT F250.Would like to see the window sticker next time.
I have a 2014 F250 Super Duty 6.7L FX4 package with the bigger 20 wheels. So I’ll throw my 2 cents in on this. Not a fan of the front end of the truck in the video. They gotta do something about that huge valance underneath. It does not help in gas mileage and it looks silly to me especially when looking at it from the side. Now as far as this color goes..I’ll weigh in my thoughts from a graphic designer’s standpoint and someone who has studied color theory and knows what looks good when it comes to well….anything. UPDATE: I just LOOKED on the 2024 Trucks and Ford did away with the “Azure Blue /Gray” So America spoke and Ford realized that color sucked too. I understand what ford was trying to do here by trying to come up with a color that people would just have to have or really like very much like a lot of people do of the Toyota’s Luna Rock color that I’m also a big fan of. That’s my opinion.
Funnily enough, I graduated with a Graphic Design degree from college, the color grew on me but was a bit shocking at first. Definitely isn’t gray. It was reassuring to see Ford try to mix it up at least. Thanks for the quality comment!
3:22 ?? Obviously tail lights. But my Lariat has LED's for Headlights. I assume the Tail lights are Halogen. Thats kinda dumb. I'm looking at changing those.
I have a great idea for all you haters of the front ends of the new 2023 ford trucks and the ones the just hate the side bed step and the bumper step . With all your dislikes. Of those wonderful upgrades . If you have a truck ordered . Put a stop on your orders go to ford right now and stop your orders all of you . That way may be I can get my 2023 F350 lariat dually stone gray ultimate package Baja interior much sooner. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go by a GM . There are a lot of Dodge trucks on the lots waiting for you and may be a Toyota for you there out there and waiting
I ordered mine with the Ultimate Pkg and will not change it. I am just wondering how long I will have to wait till I get mine. I orderd mine on Nov 7th. I just don't like the chrome grille and bumpers. The bumpers should be body color and the grille gloss black along with the fender badges!!! C'mon FORD. If I don't order the chrome package it means I don't want chrome.
My '23 is supposed just waiting for a train ride. It's an Antimatter Blue XLT F250 Sport/XLT ultimate package FX4. The sport grille I like a lot, the XLT chrome grille was alright as well, but the Lariat & up chrome grille not so much. That rounded outside marker light of the grille doesn't look as good/aggressive as the previous years, I had a '17. The new outer edge of the headlight/grille looks odd to me & poorly designed. The side step issue...not a big fan. I say why not just make a nice wheel to wheel side step, in the vein of the Westin HDX. I like the Baja Interior, got it in mine, I & my salesman, thought it only came in the Lariat in leather, but out of curiosity I had him check, out if it came in cloth for the XLT & he was surprised to see it as an option & added it. Was going to get the Azure Gray Metallic in a Lariat with similar packages as my XLT but wasn't sure it was worth a $k more, & didn't need/want leather as it's my work truck & I always use seat covers anyway, & what ever other options go with a Lariat above my XLT. The $5200 savings in the XLT will go to preferred aftermarket upgrades. The Azure Gray looked classier in the computer generated pic, more like a combo of the carbonized gray with the Azure. I'd say of what was offered I think I like the Antimatter Blue the best, though I can't say it's my perfect color. Accessorizing seems to be extremely hard at this time. Hoping bumper companies get their '23 versions out there soon. I'd recommend bare bones transport wheels & tires, no bumpers, side steps option for delivery, reducing the cost, for those who want to poop can the factory crap for some good aftermarket stuff.
Side and bumper steps are functional, but ugly up the lines of the truck. Should at least make the side steps fold up, and the bottom of the step fall in line with the body lines.
@James S I thought so too but the lariat ultimate at the auto show was a lariat blackout with black package and it had shoulder supports. I think it's ultimate and up but who knows 🤷♂️
@@fergotti Interesting. If my truck ever gets built I'll let you know. I ordered the ultimate package and those upgraded seats would be a nice surprise.
It does say that LED Taillights are standard. These certainly looked like a set of halogens with physical bulbs. Not sure whether it was a different style. We'll take a closer look when our next truck comes in stock.
I have a lariat with the ultimate package on order. It has not been scheduled for build and possibly may never get built with the kind of money. It cost to buy these vehicles I’m not about to accept a lesser vehicle.
Absolutely ridiculous! I know of several Platinum models that don’t have massaging seats, cooled seats and heated seats. They were delivered without them. Who in their right mind would buy Platinum trim without these functions. I was fortunate in that my 2022 F450 Limited has all the bits and pieces it was designed to have.
@@revest100 Oh No I never do!!! The front step is too far forward to even reach the ball and let alone to high, and the back corner step should be a fold down to be lower to get in easier with a gooseneck trailer. Full length Luverne running boards are way better!!! Plus they add protection!!!! So no I apparently never pull a trailer!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@huntauto oh I agree those are definitely halogen bulbs... I wonder if onboard scale option gives you the platinum ones with the DRL or maybe has to have bliss?
