This 2200 Year Old Scroll Proves Jesus is GOD! 

I was Hindu before and I became a Christian after reading Isaiah 53 which made me realise that Jesus is the suffering servant as in Isaiah

Proverbs 30:5 “Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.

Accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior was the best thing that ever happened in my life!

"Be still & know that I am God", says it all. These words have brought comfort to me in times of distress. ❤

The greatest proof of Jesus being the Son of God is when He acts in our own lives. That's when unbelievers cannot ever succeed in turning those that are born again from denying the existence of Jesus as the Son of God.

I was a drunk, high, spirit of Jezebel led, lost soul. Jesus made me brand new. If i can be saved, anyone can. Thank you Jesus for saving this broken person. Im still very flawed, but growing every day. Thank you Father, for the Son. Amen

The Dead Sea Scroll of Isaiah 53 didn't change in over 1200 years of copying, showing how carefully the Hebrews copied the biblical text. They were fanatical about preserving the text without any changes. If a mistake was made, they ripped up the copy and started over. There were so many rules about things they had to follow when copying the scripture - all designed to make sure the text was copied faithfully. This gives assurance that prophecies were NOT written in "after the fact." Only God knows the future. I grew up around church culture. However, I was 25 before I heard about Isaiah 53, understood what it was saying, and knew how we know it was written before the life of Jesus. It was one of the biggest mind blowing events of my life. I remember asking my one Christian friend why we never talk about this in church. They just shrugged their shoulders. I’ll never forget that. I have since made it my mission to share Isaiah 53 with people.

Those who doubt the truth of Christ, need to read Isaiah Chp 53. This Chapter changed my belief and I now have a unbreakable conviction and know without a doubt Christ is real.

I was lost for many years, but now I believe in God again and hope that he will forgive the many sins I committed over many, many years. I believe in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Before the world goes further astray and denies His sovereignty in the future, He sent the Qumran text in 1947 to help today's believers become stronger and stronger and to help those who are still wavering to come quickly to Him. I believe that in the future, He will still equip and strengthen believers according to the needs of the people at that time. I am a Roman Catholic I used the Douai Bible, and I just love the book of Isaiah. He was wounded for iniquities. He bruised for our sins. Isaiah, 53 :5. What a loving God would give his life up for us, and this was prophesied hundreds of years before.

He was a humble king. Riding into Jerusalem on a donkey for the passover. I try to stay humble, calm in the face of adversity, and away from judgement of others.. it's so difficult because of my human nature. I pray for grace daily.. one day I hope I can live a life the way my lord intended me to live.

I love that more and more evidence of the Bible keeps showing up. I don't know how the global flood could be anything but fact now, nobody can answer why there are ancient advanced civilizations but no human skeletons, or ocean fossils on top of mountains.

Jesus said blessed are those that believe but not seen. Do we need proof 🤔

They dont see it because they don't want to see it. They believe that they (as a community) are the "suffering servant", but ignore that the Torah teaches us that Israel suffered because of her sins, not because of her "rightousness" as the suffering servant who was prophesied about in Isaiah 53. Their eyes are blinded to the truth because they still believe the lie that their bloodline will save them and make them more dear to God. Their beliefs are entrenched in hubris; which is, not so ironically, exactly what Christ constantly condemned the relgious leaders for.

First we have to realise that the word “god” is not a name, it is a title that simple means a “mighty one”. In English we have the word god and we give it a capital “G” when we want it to refer to the ultimate “mighty one” in the universe. Just as we use the word president with lower case “p” when speaking of a president, but when we refer to the ultimate president of a country we capitalise the “P”. In Isaiah 9:6 the words Mighty God are used as part of a longer name. A more accurate translation of Isaiah 9:6 would be “Valiant Mighty One” I was reading some of the answers and had to comment on what Lucha Tijuanera said. This person does not allow comments so I could not put it there. The comment was …. Watch the lie that the “mighty God” in hebrew transliterated “gibbowr el”, where gibbowr means mighty and they want to translate the hebrew “ el” that means God, with the meaning of mighty again, all in order to strip Jesus of his deity. Then would say “mighty mighty”, absurd as all the Watch Tower beliefs. So what Lucha is saying is that it does not make sense to translate “gibbowr el” as meaning “mighty mighty”. Lucha has greatly over simplified the definitions. For example the word “el” has a variety of meanings. It basically means a “mighty one” or a “strong one” or a “powerful one”. These are not names but descriptions that can used to describe a quality about a particular being, or things, or as a title. So lets see how the word “el” is sometimes translated in the HNV Bible that Lucha quotes from. In the texts bellow each word that I put in bold and all capitals, is the English translation of “el”. Check these out for yourself by going to biblehub dot com and using the interlinear. Genesis 31:29 “It is in the POWER [el] of my hand to hurt you…” Deuteronomy 28:32 “…there shall be nothing in the POWER [el] of your hand…” Nehemiah 5:5 “….neither is it in our POWER [el] to help it….” Psalm 50:1 “…. The MIGHTY ONE [el] , God [elohim], the LORD…” Ezekiel 32:21 “The STRONG [el] among the mighty [gibbowr] shall speak to him…” Now what about gibbowr, exactly what does that mean? Lucha suggested mighty and that is correct to a degree. But lets get some more details. The extended meaning of gibbower is “warrior, tyrant: - champion, chief, X excel, giant, man, mighty (man, one), strong (man), valiant man.” So when we put the two el gibbowr together we get the idea of a “mighty one [el]” who is a champion or a valiant warrior.

A scroll, written by someone 2200 years ago doesn't prove Jesus was God. Jesus told you who he is. The Son of God. My Father, who is in Heaven. The Son doing the work of the Father...

(Sorry for the VERY, VERY long "comment". But I believe it NEEDS to be espoused) Yes, MANY say, "Jesus is NOT God!". Because, satan tempts Christians; that He is ONLY the Son of God. And that reason: is really causing by many Christians! But they do not understand our true God Almighty. For... God, is of "3 manifestations" with the Son, the Father and the Holy Spirit. Yet, God is ONLY One! But He IS "3=1" TOO! (The "Heavenly Trinity") And, MANY say, "This is NOT possible!". And whosoever believes in the above verses and accepts HIM will find favour with LORD CHRIST JESUS, OUR HOLY ALMIGHTY GOD IN HEAVEN, his sins would be forgiven and he would be seated on the Right side of GOD ALMIGHTY

Every word of this is true except the caption that drew me to click on it. There is really nothing new and it doesn't prove that Jesus is God. That is a theological conception forced on believers by the church. Any belief that has to be enforced by torture, burnings and boiling in oil cannot be an absolute truth and is not even necessary for salvation. In some countries around the world, just having Isaiah 53 with you is a death sentence. For those who have never read it, consider the fact that it was written 700 years before Christ's ministry. The resurrection of Christ was what I could not get past after over 30 years of spiritual searching. Past ministries disappeared after the leader was killed. Five days after Christ was crucified, over 10,000 new believers came to the faith due to the resurrection in this timeline. The ancient Jewish historian, Josephus (certainly no fan of Christianity) also talks about the first hand eye witness accounts of so many who saw the resurrection and Jesus teaching after His resurrection, and were given the chance to recant their story, or suffer death. You have to remember that The Jewish leaders and Romans had the tomb guarded so heavily because they were afraid that Jesus' body would be stolen and push the narrative of the faith. It only led to many who were against the ministry of Christ becoming part of what was the canon shot that spread Christianity so quickly. The apostle Paul's story shows everything he gave up in the riches and political power of this world when he met Christ on the road to Damascus. Later in his ministry, Paul looked at the things of the world he gave up and called them "filthy rags" compared to the sufferings he encountered for his faith in Christ. I came to the point where I had saw too much not to believe, but to those who remain steadfast in their unbelief in the face of the evidence for Christ, no amount of evidence will ever change their minds. They will always have another "but", which is a type of rescuing device which prevents them from ever accepting Christ. It's why scripture says that God gives grace to the humble, but resists the proud. A good book to read is "A Case for Christ", written by Lee Strobel, an award winning columnist who set off to prove that Christianity was false, and he ended up coming to the conclusion that Christianity is the truth.

Yes, it does start with Genesis but at Gen 3:10 then to book of Job and at the end Job go back and pick up at Genesis 3:11 and read through Genesis.... one would need a teacher in biblical theology, strong Christian who loves the Lord and His Word. Why is it that people always leave out the fact that Baptism in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ is necessary to be saved. Many baptized fresh and new Christians are left out of the Baptism by saying I baptize you, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit? it took me a very long time to understand that the name is Jesus Christ. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are all in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. The Holy Bible is meant to teach us and prepare us for the coming of the Lord, Jesus Christ.
