Of all of the cars we have had on the channel so far, we have been most excited to finally experience the elusive Mk4 Megane 280 RS. This car in particular is running a proven 340bhp and 550nm/torque which is astounding for such a 'small' but punchy engine. This car has genuinely set levels for all hot hatches, power statistics aside, the pairing of front wheel drive and four wheel steering darts this thing around corners at speeds you wouldn't even believe, giving you confidence and reassurance as you do so.
This RS in particular is running a K-tec super-street exhaust system, an unreleased K-tec induction kit, front and rear strut braces and a blow off valve. Most modern hot hatches tend to feel numb, quiet and disengaged, but James has perfectly modified this car to unlock it's potential with plenty off induction noise and hissing from the blow off valve upfront, and loud but natural pop and bangs from the rear.
