BCS exhausts are an absolute work of art, they spend insane amounts of time in researching every exhaust they make for best balance of flow and noise, its the reason they make them for so little cars online
Dumped wastegates will make more power. Just make sure the discharge isn't point at your intake. The less your wastegate flows (more boost), the less effect it should have on power.
British people love to wear sweaters/jumpers with different geographical locations especially from the states, I guess you guys don't wear LONDON sweaters 😂
As impressive as this is speed wise it just looks pretty boring to drive, like he’s sitting there with one hand on wheel absolutely flying yet there is no drama and he’s so chilled. Outright speed has never done it for me tho so that’s maybes why so each to their own and fair play to the guy as it’s silly fast
Depends what road you take them on TBF, if you take them on the proper Twisties like there are around my area they are a lot of fun, I find that you can classify any AWD/fwd as boring due to them being much easier to handle than rwd but whats the point in buying a rwd car when cars like this can achieve much better 0-60s and will still hold close to them times even when it's pissing it down, there's a reason why people want awd and this is it
I’m not saying I hate awd im just saying that aswell as dsg with the rest of the modern tech is just dull. Great daily yes, weekend toy no. People only car about Willy waving figures and 0-60 times etc these days. Even a manual in this would bring a tad more drama to it when pressing on. Just sitting there doing nothing but going fast with no input is not a fun car
@@mrvolkswagon1710 get one mapped to stage 3 (or for people who call the stage talk nonsense a full exhaust system, MPI injectors, hpfp plus lpfp upgrade, hybrid turbo or a garrett powermax 2, uprated intercooler and turn esp and TC off, that'll sort it out for sure I use mine as a weekend car/soon to be track car, I think their fun if you play with them a bit, now if you're talking about them being boring in standard form from factory id completely agree, it sucked so much that my previous gti would of been faster on a roll...That id understand completely
he's made a road drag car the last thing you want in a drag car is for it to dance across the road. for the purpose the tech has done incredible things. these golf Rs were never much of a handling car IMO look elsewhere for what.
You just immediately know those certified drivers when you see them with dem arms all streched out but man, this lad takes things to a whole other level with additionally even completely removing one arm out of the occasion. What a champion.
Doesn't even matter tbh, you can use paddles if you want, the manual is much slower than the dsg and I always think the manual Vs auto argument is dumb, I've been a manual driver my whole life apart from my Golf and tbh I wouldn't go back, there's no point, especially on this car, as I said it's slower and they can suffer crank walk, it doesn't make it anymore entertaining honestly
