my irl best friend since i was 10 that i grew up with he was my neighbor, we played RuneScape for nearly 20 yrs together and he passed away 4 years ago in july. he gave me one of his accounts ( a pure) so we could pk together and that we did, up until the night of him passing away we played rs one last time. i fuckin miss you rob, i'm glad i at least have something to remember the amazing memories we had ❤
Someone did leave their account in a will many years ago. As the man's wife was emptying the account it was reported hacked and locked. The wife appealed and while the claim was deemed legitimate, it was against the rules. The mod team at the time turned a blind eye for a couple hours before relocking the account resolving that particular issue. So if you can distribute the will before you're locked you probably won't be punished, but Jagex isn't gonna recover a deceased account for you. I believe the story was on Mod Ash's episode of the Sae Bae podcast.
I remember hearing a story about a guy leaving all of his items on his account in his will for a lot of his clan members. The dudes wife apparently got his password after he passed and a list of account names to give the items to.
@@howthecow7513 you fuckin thought! there is iron only ccs out here banning green and blue helms bc they arent " a real iron ". its certainly a real thing.
If divine forgotten brew became a thing I think you could offset the negative stats with a menaphite remedy pre pot. Men remedies would likely go up a bit as well. Definitely viable though.
I like having some crazy rare items like heart, maybe make a weaker easier to get one but if we remove all the crazt low % items then we lose a core part of the game
Someone I knew but wasn't super close with unalived themself and a friend of mine who was closer with them claims to have reached out to jagex and was able to get their account information as they wanted to finish maxing the account. They never did it as far as I know they quit playing shortly after. Dunno if they had to provide some sort of verification like an obituary or something they never told me the details and I never asked.
Clan leaders needs to be able to see ''last time online'' for all members, not just for admis... So difficult to siw out i nactive members when you can only see last played on your mods!
You can't leave anything you don't own in your will....Jagex owns all RS accounts and just lets you use them. So no, you can't leave it in a will, but you can ask kindly.
irons already are so catared to lets not give them anymore freebies like this wtf? what happen to the "we earned it" motto they claim let em earn that shit
No you can’t leave an account in a will lol, terms and conditions state that you’re account and everything on it remain the property of jagex, even paid for items such as mtx in rs3 etc. so no. No you couldn’t lol it’s not your property to leave to somebody. In a nutshell say if you didn’t have a car and say your wife did and she let you drive her car when ever you needed it, you can’t then put that car in your will as your own property to leave to somebody else after you died, is the best analogy I can think of
Divine ancient potion with a sip of restore would be the same as an imbued heart no? If not it would be close enough to justify not spending 100m on it. I'm probably wrong but I'm not looking at the wiki.
Didn't The Old Nite leave his runescape belongings in his will? I believe Jagex only delivered because it was The Old Nite, and also stated that they wouldn't normally support it.
I use forgotten brews for slayer n shit all the time its the only thing that adds +9 to magic without needing a crazy expensive item..next closing thing is thw divine magic pot n its only a +4..ill take the atat drain n just drink a sip of restore if i need my melee stats that bad lol
