My new favorite accessory for the Fujifilm X100V is the WCL adapter (wide conversion lens). It turns my Fuji X100V into a makeshift mini Leica Q (kinda).
Hi reggie, would you be able to make a review of the TCL and wcl please. I’d like to grab one but still deciding which one.Im more on the street photography. thanks
Nice. I just got one thinking it was the first version that includes the adapter ring but it doesn’t. Does yours include a ring to screw on to the camera? Or does it screw on magnetically?
I've been absolutely dying for a x100v literally thinking about getting a loan to get one. I love photography but have no money to get into it, sucks to suck lol
A brilliant more affordable alternative is the Panasonic GX9 with Panasonic Leica 15mm f1.7. You gain faster auto focus, a more responsive tap to focus screen, a lens that’s half a stop faster, excellent IBIS, tilting viewfinder and of course the beautiful L Monochrome D profile, possibly the best Mono profile available. Cheaper still is the GX80/GX85.
Too bad this adapter makes the built-in flash unusable, casting a big ugly shadow on each image 😬 It's a pity because that flash paired with the leaf shutter is really good.
@@RTReview. yeah lol, I've got the money for a full frame, but don't want to bother with the weight (with glass it's always heavier) and also the controls of Fuji are where it's at. I enjoy photography this way.
@@Reggiebphoto and, you boomerang on yourself Bec your own subject title shows that you aspire your fuji to be a mini Leica Q. why can't you be comfortable being just a Fuji ? 😆
