Imagine seeing yer boy doing well after the situation John was in during the 90’s.

HIS DAD WAS THERE!!!!????? THAT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE NOW!!!!!! Watching him live and seeing him pour his heart out on the guitar especially on that side of the stage multiple times, makes a lot more sense now.

Oh my God this makes me so happy. Not sure if there's a lot of footage of John interacting with his parents, but idk. I do feel weird for geeking out, but its a proud moment for John's father and how wholesome this is makes me glow

The honorable judge. He helped me and my friend out in Broward County Florida when we were pulled over and subsequently beaten up by cops.

I had jury duty once, here in Ft Lauderdale... and the judge for one case was Judge John Frusciante. I freaked out, not knowing it was his father, but rather because growing up I was a HUGE fan of John's playing and the name was the same. Learning later that it actually was his father was so cool. Life is strange.

I was standing right next to whoever was taking this video and saw John's interaction with that guy and thought he was just a friend or sincere fan/photographer. No clue it was his dad until now and that just makes it so much more special of a night. Unforgettable experience

Oh shit I was there, I noticed he was going to that side of the stage quite a bit, I didn’t even know his dad was there, they seem to have a great relationship

it's so fitting that i see this today, on the anniversary of my daddy's passing... john, along with srv and evh, was *the* reason i first picked up the guitar, and in those early years, while in my mid-teens, my dad used to always hang out in the basement and watch me play. of course i always had ambitions to someday be a great big rockstar and to play arenas like the chili's, and that my dad would be there watching- from basement to stadium-, but it can't happen for all of us. i'm so glad it happened for john and that he still has his pops to share such special moments with- i lost mine much too soon, when i was 28. rip dad- think about you daily, and i'm still jamming out for you every night... hope you can hear me up there, lord knows i play loud enough!

Losing your Dad is the worst thing that can happen to a guy in a normal life. John's very lucky, I'm sure his music made his Dad cry more than once, knowing he had a Mozart on his hands.

oh how cool is that??!!?!? 🤩.he is enjoying every note at every second , really into the vibe and having the greatest time like he's playing himself. Strong connection, what a great moment and it's caught on tape.. awesome to watch and seeing such energy between them. 🥰

I was at this show, it rained for 2-3 hours before they came out to play and we weren't sure if we would see them or not. But damn it when they came out it was magic!!! Cool to see he was playing in front of his dad too!!!

I hate to say this, but does anyone else get the feeling that something is wrong with John and his health? I've noticed he's having to doctor his arms every show. He's also getting very emotional a lot. I really hope this isn't a couple of last tours for other health reasons.
