I would like to point out that did not says "SPEED" but "SEED". Without knowing the program I can't say exactly what it does but typicall SEED is a setting that if you reuse that number for another project you would most likly get a similar result/style.
@@balkanarchitect The seed is very important. If it's random the materials and lighting will be different each time but if you lock the seed or copy the same seed number it will try to use the same materials and lighting for different views.
I am using Midjourney since past 1 month...I feel AI tools are playing Lead role for transition of AEC industry to another level of INNOVATION...this is just a start....AI will revolutionise whole world.
I have been using Veras and for rendering AI in general can be improved but has definitely been an improvement in speeding up rendering. I haven't really had a chance to use it but I really look forward to Glyph and what it can do to speed things up as well.
Hi, Balkan Architect I have a few questions 1. For the 1 picture it's ok, but if I need same building and 3 POV, how can AI make similar rendering? 2. If I did modifications of the building: added or removed 1 floor, or something else, how to repeat rendering design? Each time it's new result. Thanks

Plug-in looks really promising, but I would say it was developed for the wrong program. Revit it more of the engineering program when design is already defined. I don't know any companies which are developing concept designs in Revit. It would make more sense if the plug-in is made for programs like Rhino, Sketchup which are mostly used by companies during concept development.
@dubravkon They do have a plugin for Rhino and Sketchup. Also you do not need to use a plugin, you can use the web version or the desktop version and load any screenshot of a model or really anything into it and it's the same results.
I am currently enjoying the full Revit beginner-to-advance package including the discount. I can't wait for the updates. The name of the AI again? Lol.
hey balkan, i have revit 2024 latest ,downloaded latest twinmotion 23.2 version access into revit but when i click on twinmotion button in revit it imediatly show an error message that i didnt find any help or a similar problem anywhere in the internet hope that you could help or have any idea bout the problem... and yes iwas in 3d view when opening twinmotion and it still crashes
@KarimKmsi This is a video about Veras, not Twinmotion. The Veras plugin is very streamlined but you can load your images into the web version of Veras and it does the same thing as the plugin so you could use the web version until you get the plugin to work. Also the forums are very helpful if you have a bug and the devs usually are on the forums helping people on a daily basis in my experience.

@dawn5428 video is still difficult for AI. Probably 2 or 3 years and we will have perfect video of anything. Also creating 3D models is even more difficult for AI, but I think it will figure it out.
All very well and good but who owns the copyright on images created through Veras? Almost every other AI image generating platform or tool owns ALL data that is used to create the image. You upload a floor plan to something like midjourney, they now own the copyright of the floor plan and all images that are created from it. From a legal standpoint, this is horrible for architects. If you cannot answer the question "who owns the data", and it's not in the EULA, then that's a problem.
@fairouzintotheworld6990 The student license if $24 per month right now. That's a lot of ramen. I do understand they have to charge because they have to pay for compute power.

I've used Veras with Revit for a few months and I'm canceling my subscription. It does fantastic landscapes and lighting, but its for conceptual ideas only. Needless to say it has a mind of its own. I'd rather go back to using Twinmotion, or 3D Max, or Sketchup software with V-Ray render. If your an architect like I am trying to sell a design for a client with specific site criteria, your wasting your time and money.
@@balkanarchitect Thank you for your videos. They have definitely helped me out a great deal. I'm an 'old school architect'. Back in the mid 2000's all we had was AutoCAD and 3D Max for designing skyscrapers. And it was a nightmare.
@@brendtoconnell6119 I think for quantity surveyor they are still stay in 90s.. most takeoff software are 2d tracing based, there is no decent BIM estimating software and most architect or engineer's BIM model are not 100% suitable for quantity takeoff and they dont like to share their model anyway...
