The Air Jordan 1 continues to be the silhouette of choice for Jordan Brand, and rightfully so. Designed by Peter Moore and released to the public in 1985, the silhouette has since aged gracefully.
As Jordan Brand continues to celebrate the icon, rumors of a classic returning with a modern twist have surfaced.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Bred” is making a return with a glossy look as the upper is rumored to receive the patent leather finish. The lateral quarter and overlays are completely blacked-out. Meanwhile, the toebox, heel counter, ankle strap, and Nike Swoosh stand out in Varsity Red. This release also features an exclusive box that corresponds with a glossy finish and 3D Jumpman emblem.
The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Patent Bred” is now set to drop on December 30th via SNKRS and at select retailers for $170. These are clean. That patent leather hits different on top of that Bred color blocking. It won't be until things slowdown and more people decide whether they want to keep manually going after sneakers or start botting that'll give these time to creep up in the background. I think because most people are afraid to wear them, over time there won’t be this huge demand as the majority of pairs out there will still be DS condition. Maybe 450 but can’t see it ever going higher.

you must be an idiot because that's literally what collecting is, things raise in value over time because they aren't available anymore and lots of people want them so they get rarer and the price raises, one could say anyones dumb for buying anything more than it's original price, I could say anyone that spends more than 30k on an 80s or 70s ferrari is dumb because they only costed about 30k when they came out but are now rare and not made so they cost a lot more, it's collecting, that's what it is, get over it.

I was excited getting them. When I got them the smell was different than other Jordan 1s. It smelt bad. Colors r more brighter than the og which I think is better. I like the shine but at the same time idk.
