Not sure about Multi-Talented on Ajax, he gains very little from it. His 2 and 3 have super low cool-downs anyway after the two focus/cool-down mods (plus the -5%/10%/20% cool-down you get from using his skills) and the +15% skill power is a skill power modifier, which is nothing added to his high skill multipliers. All you're really getting is +15% skill range which isn't a massive benefit going from +186% to 200%. I also wouldn't go for Void Charge. I know it's the 'fun' build to increase the amount of times you can jump but Void Explosion is way better for a spamming build. Also fits in better with Secret Garden to get the max pest control buff easier (which is actually 37% of your base skill power, not a skill power modifier like Multi-talented). Having his 3rd ability as Dimension does nothing for him with Secret Garden, any resources you get is lost when you use an enhanced skill and it will always take 3 skill uses to get an enhanced, even with the extra resources.
Agree about multi-talented but disagree on trans mod. Focusing on shout is less mobile and no where near as spammy. The only thing that is annoying about Void Charge is the change of shout to Dimension. Wish that was not the case but it does trigger the other half of SG (which you dont really need and I agree is kinda irrelevant).
Man, I'm having a lot of fun with Void Charge. Funny thing happened today while running a dungeon. It was me (Ajax) and a Bunny only. I was minding my business jumping around like an ape and all of a sudden I see in the chat the message: "What King Kong madness is this?". That sh*t caught me off-guard. 😅

Honestly, Ajax is one of the strongest descendants in the game, but also in one of the worst spots in the current sandbox meta. Not Ajax’s fault, but… 1. His mobbing might be fun, but it’s so not efficient compared to Bunny, Freyna, and Blair (post buff) 2. His bossing is purely weapon-based, but he’s severely outclassed by the best weapon bosser in the game, Gley. 3. His defensive abilities are amazing, but mainly are only of use to himself (most people don’t huddle up around Ajax until they are about to die) There aren’t many scenarios where Ajax is needed, unlike Valby, Yujin, Enzo (Gluttony and future intercept bosses). So, until the sandbox changes to give Ajax more usefulness for content, he’s simply a novelty Descendant.
Yes, no taunting makes "tanks" irrelevant more or less. If it hits hard enough to be a threat such that you need Ajax level defenses (like with body enhancement), then it annihilates anyone else except Kyle or weirdo Enzo shield builds. Gluttony is like that kinda, but these days its another mechanics skip/DPS race in a stacked group.
@@Herbagamers Technically, Hailey is a ‘skill-based’ descendant; her skill just happens to be in the form of a weapon. Same for Freyna and her skill-based weapon ability. Gley is the best pure weapon-based bosser descendant in the game. Sharen is probably the 2nd best pure weapon bosser after Gley with her Afterglow sniper build.
@@MistaVauros Hailey properly built for endgame does not use zenith. Just uses a weapon and boosts it up with cryo debuff from spamming her 1 and her self debuff. She is a gun descendant when not killing the first 5-6 colosus
Ajax was my starter descendant and when I got his ultimate (last descendant I got) he was SO MUCH FUN to come back to. My thing is I already had a fully built bunny, viessa and somewhat built valby so it just felt redundant to put cats in him. Been mostly spending on weapons since completing descendants I really liked lvling him in the shard farm in vespers iirc. It's like right by a huge trunk and I would do the full run. Keep up the good stuff Denneys, if the hurricane permits I'll be watching the stream on the 10th
Been hopping with Ajax since before the season...definitely fun, but when we get the new skill power mod it's gonna be amazing for Ajax and also Freyna with the Thanos snap build
I use this build to clear mobs in Asylum and I've slowly been trying to figure out where I can get away with using Ajax to farm instead of using Bunny. Its a nice change of pace after playing Bunny for so long :D
Ive been running both Void Explosion and void charge for a long time and VE is more damage out of the two. You dont get to hop around AS MUCH but you still hop around quite a bit.
Most fun, valby.... good mobber. .. fully built Viessa. Currently putting on CCs on ult. Ajax and hard to make a balanced build, so many different ways to skin a cat.
Last update for time fixed that I usually hit 500k damage one his abilities that I can spam so fast my mana bar disappears. This build is good. Just not goated yet.
