Just got this in the mail. I saw it was the steep discount and threw the theta and a minitherium in my cart last week. I now have the Æterna, theta, and soon minitherium. Almost got the whole set lol

Their premium models (Ki models) still got tese boxes with the flaps btw. While the Vanguard series (V number) uses the cheap boxes. So the regular Vanguard series and the Mojave exclusives get the cheap boxes.

Great knife!!! The detent on mine is strong. The finishing is good too. I cut my finger the same way too. The knife is a laser.

Vanguard (cheap) kizers come in chincy packaging. Good kizers come in that box. Hail the stache!

I bought that knife last year (I bought it used, though). I ended up not really liking the handle shape. I sold it, and I put the money toward an Ace Biblio instead. By the way, I really like your duel camera set up. 👍

Is it confirmed that the Theta is being discontinued? I just noticed that most places got it restocked. Maybe they just decided to do a new run before the tragic news. Would be sick if they did another honorary run with the new improved Kizer hardware and bearings. But they might already have those considering they just got restocked (unless they had tons of old Kizer hardware laying around). Did your come with extra hardware like the newer premium Kizers? Anyway it has had a good run, they released 2017/2018 if I'm not mistaken? I need to pick one up asap

Got mine in today. Bought it because of this vid. Cleaned, lubed, n tuned. Is it just me or does the flipper action really suck? I can't flip it without wrist.

Flipper action is awkward because the tab is so tiny, but I took mine apart, cleaned it and lubed it up and it's getting better. 🤜🤛
