Interesting. Here is the affirmation I composed for the New Moon in Gemini yesterday ... I choose not to rely solely on reason when deciding what steps I should take moving forward, and trust that love will show me the way.

Is this an argument against reason, facts, and rationalism?

Our brains have two hemispheres. We're meant to use both of them, not one or the other exclusively ... this is how I read the Temperance Card, as a need for balance.

@@danskhansen I don't know that our brains work that way. The jury hasn't come to a decision on the left brain (logical) versus right brain (creative) theory. An individual may be wired up completely different.

@@the-999-asmr-tarot-art-show I speak from my own experience, and often metaphorically. I honor neurodiversity, and pray that growing awareness will lead to greater understanding and tolerance for individual differences.

No, not as I understand it. The idea of the book is that humans have different functions, for example reason, intuition, instinct. If you isolate reason and deny the other parts, the intellectual mind becomes paranoid and pessimistic.
