I own this amp along with some of the other big orange heads...this is my favorite amp Orange have ever made.....its awesome for metal....great demo and Riffs btw....maybe you could do a similar one for the dual dark

Sounds good. Wouldn't swap my Matamp GT1 for it, but the OR30 is still a nice add for lower volumes.

Being English, I should really fill my house with Orange and Matamp. I feel it is my duty. Production looking really smart my friend!

I think it soudns best without the overdrive. The overdrive made it sound a bit fizzy, still great though

Orange never fail Tom disappoint maybe the 1800 price is a bit hight but the tones for a 30watt sound amazing

The OR50 is my favorite Orange I've played. This one is sounding a lot like it. I hope I get to crank one up soon.

Nice video! Agreed I think the versatility of the OR30 is the best feature with the presence knob / full EQ and brightness switches you can dial in tons of different metal genre tones. I usually use an OD or mid boost.

I have a Rockerverb MK1 and the TH-100z the Rockerverb is my go too for B standard tuned guitars , but this OR -30 has my attention!

Awesome demo sounds brutal. I had a crush pro 120 and a super crush 100 and didn't really like either...maybe I should try one of oranges tube amps.

Maybe you mis-spoke. All tube guitar amplifies are rectified; either tube or diode. AND because all guitar tube amps have AB power sections (push-pull) it has four (4) EL84 power tubes not three (3) EL34. However, it does have three (3) 12AX7 pre amp tubes. Anyway, ORANGE amps are awesome and have their own thing going on. Great video!!

Sounds really good. I really like the tone to it. Sounds like it is a versatile amp that can to all types of Metal. I was looking really hard at the OR15 a couple of years back, but I didn't think 15 watts would power the two 60 watt speakers I have so I chose the Orange Pro Crush 120. (Bang for the buck since I'm a my house only guitarist). Too bad this amp wasn't around a couple of years back, I would have gotten it. The FX loop is a must for me.

My biggest issue with this amp(and my th30) is i really do find myself wanting these tones with more headroom.

I’ve been relentlessly check the channel for this demo. I wanted this amp when the first previews were coming out but most demo channels don’t demo for the HEAVY. The DOOM. The SLUDGE. Been looking to downgrade in wattage at home but didn’t want to loose the magic that comes with the big 100 watters.

Amp sounds killer!! Nice to see a UK build 🤘 BUT.....and i know this is small gripes but...i really wish Orange would drop that font they've been using recently, to me it just looks like someone stepped all over the logo🤦‍♂️...the older one was so much stronger looking google a th100 if yeah don't know what mean...but yeah, great amp...lets see an OR100🤘

Man this amp sounds good. What tuning were you in during your lighter drive with delay part (around the 5:30 mark)? Kinda reminded me a bit of Russian Circles. I used to have a RV mkiii and just felt like it was too squishy and loose. This amp sounds so much better

3x EL34’s? I think you meant 4x EL84’s and a 5AR4 rectifier. Anyways sounds great. I have an ‘06 UK built Rocker 30 and it’s my favorite amp. 30 watts is just the right amount in my opinion.

If you had to choose between this and and a matamp (gt1 or gt120) as your high end amp, what would it be? Which would you buy?

A 30 watt amp powered by three EL34’s? Are you sure it’s not powered by four EL84’s and has a rectifier tube that kinda looks like an EL34?

Awesome stuff, sounds really great mate. Been enjoying the playing a lot lately too :) One thing I always wish id see, especially for one channel amps in particular, is a good demonstration of the dynamic range of the guitars volume rolling from clean to filth (volume pedal while playing personally these days) at different settings to show how well the single channel amp responds. I know id find great value in this at least, as those kind of simple dynamics have become way more important to me as I get older and have been playing for a while, favoring single channel setups. If someone can gain stage a RAT, Muff or otherwise and perform the same demonstration of dynamics would be really cool also as different amps will respond differently (gain not too hot on pedals to retain some dynamic control of course - or not hehe).

Amazing. Can’t afford one but it sounds amazing haha. Before the overdrive was added it was giving me serious Mastodon vibes.
