The request for the show was in dub, but I've only recorded 4 episodes of it. If the series continues, I'll probably record the rest in sub, as that's my preference.

This is my favorite comedy anime, so glad you're reacting to it!! edit: the jokes in this series go super fast so you can miss stuff easily by looking away from the screen, I was kinda overwhelmed on my first watch because everything happened so fast lol

I think this is better in Dub vs, Sub unless you are at least capable in Japanese (including reading) because the subtitles miss a ton of jokes each episode.

Saiki K. is a certified comedic marvel. It'll be a crazy experience~ Just so you know, Netflix made a sequel to the original and it is almost as great. Absolutely don't watch it dubbed! Please (yeah, I can't stand the English voice acting....)

personally i think saiki k does a good job with the dub so just let boom decide what he wants ig, what matters is that he can enjoy it after all. I just hope that if he continues with the dub he can also put on subtitles (the ones from the english dub ofc) since you can miss jokes if you talk over them (and i like boom talking because i dont wanna watch someone just looking at the screen going "oooh" "aah")

Subtitles miss a shit ton of jokes so unless he speaks japanese it's not better

@@lulolie It is tho, if the joke is translatable in dub, it is also there in the sub. Even the tone of voice is better with the original voice. Dubs are pretty good for a lot of anime but it just never is as good as the japanese voices.
