Nick, I need you to start watching My Hero Academia. You kept saying "It can't get better. It can't get better." But when you watch the scene with this music, you literally stop breathing with the masterpiece that's before your eyes. This whole scene, along with the music, took my breath away. The whole movie theater was QUIET during this scene; That's how powerful it was. I'm going to need you to start MHA ASAP.
This version of the song is from the second MHA movie “Heroes Rising”. The version from the tv show is just called “Might.” And both versions have different lyrics. But I still cry like a baby and get goosebumps every single time either version plays!!
@@SKAOG21 it’s a version of it. I kinda think of it as the same song, broken into 2 pieces since it is essentially the same song but different lyrics. But one is called “Might” (that’s the one where Deku saves Eri) and this one called Might*U (where Deku and Kacchan defeat Nine with One For All)
@@carleyfortson3245 there's overlap within Might and Might+U (chorus/middle bit of this) which is what I think played in the linked video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VQaymMUZp68.html
Run through a fucking wall charged like a bull on steroids that had been set on fire to beat the crap whoever behind the wall for an overdue makeover via knuckle sandwiches. Yeah, that, and add the ost epicness while you clench your ass and screamed Smash like no tomorrow.
**no spoilers** Now Nick, imagine going through a series, all the emotion, all the times you felt adrenaline, all the characters you've connected with. One of the best most emotional scenes happens, and this song plays. That's the glory of MHA. The fanbase may be weird, but the anime is completely separate. The manga is crazy. MHA is one of the best new gen no doubt.
@@mehmeterciyas6844 I doubt bones will mess up s6, they're a good studio and they barely ever disappoint. Season 5 was a bit boring because it was just more of a boring arc, that wasn't the fault of bones so s6 should be fine
Well I guess it depends on the audience/listener. MHA quickly became one of my favorites ever, no doubt. But then again I never understood the hype for this song or that moment it played. Every single moment before and after that scene on that arc were a thousand times more impactful to me. Lovely voice and song, don't get me wrong, but I can't see how it fits.
There's also a charity version where many musicians, content creators, even All Might's English VA and Yuki Hayashi, the composer of You Say Run as well, perform together. You should definitely check that masterpiece out.
What I loved the most when this song played, was that they didn't use any sound effects during the scene. You just gotta see it, but they didn't want to take anything away from the song. Just this beautiful music and her voice. That choice to not put sound effects or character voices... just hit so different. It made me tear up for sure. You HAVE to watch it for sure. (This is from the MHA: Heroes Rising movie.)
It was also used in a season 4 episode. Actually, that was where international viewers first heard the song because the episode came out before the movie released internationally.
@@Gestrid I think in season 4, the song is a bit different. I vaguely recall the episode that you're talking about, but I think for this version, the movie version, there are changes to it. I'll have to look up that scene in the episodes to refresh my memory.
Yeah, important distinction: It's NOT from the wacky "give us money" movie, it's from Season 4. And if you don't recall the exact scene, then you missed one of the biggest moments in season 4 and maybe even the show as a whole. There's no real way to "forget" this moment.
My hero is such a great show, it may not be as great as some others in certain areas, but man does it know how to write characters and hit you in the emotions. The soundtrack is phenomenal, and I'd highly suggest you react to it when you get the chance
@@tamarabikic3217 manga is much darker and season 4 and 5 in anime is way to bright for what happens in manga. Didn't read season 6 so I can't really tell how the Show should continue
@@moritz3963 it sounds like they're trying to adress the problems with seasons 4 and 5. I hope they do it well, I heard season 6 is gonna be VERY important for the future of MHA.
MHA was the first anime I ever watched. I was introduced to anime through a friend who told me to watch MHA. I never regretted that decision. Happy to have you Nicholas with us on the anime train full of the feels. Can't wait to see more of your reactions man. You are my favorite anime reaction creator!
me too the first anime i watched was mha my friend was allways telling me to watch anime and i was like nah i'll pass but he kept insisting and i was like al right there is an anime i saw on youtube where the guy whenever he uses his power he hurts himself he said ye that's mha and i watched and since then i become the biggest fan of anime and escpecially mha can you imagine when i finished it at that time there was only 3 season i was sooo sad I loved almight and endeavor beleive me when i said whenever i slept i literaly dreamed of mha and those two characters escpecially . anyways i know i wrote an essay but i mha has a big place in my heart i never loved an anime like i loved mha
Honestly I was really engaged on what was happening on that episode, but this song threw me off completely. Like I didn't think it fitted the moment at all. I loved every scene after the song though. Never understood why people got emotional there.
Yes, that whole battle sequence was the most mindblowing perfect inbodiment of entertainment that I've ever had the privilege of witnessing, couldn't sit still and will forever cherish that moment, plus ultra.
@@Ami-vh7sr It is, but people love how the movies poop all over the canon and destroy the anime's pacing for some reason, so you'll not find much sympathy. When this song hits in season 4 everyone breaks down. It's the culmination of everything, both a triumph and the start of the real fight and people out here are like "ooh, when my beloved bully hero Bakugo got bullshit OFA copies which isn't actually a thing, that's when it was the best".
When this ost played during the last scene of the second movie i got goosebumps, honestly one of the greatest scenes I've ever witnessed the animation was also god-tier.
Yuki Hayashi, the composer, is an absolute GENIUS. His work on Haikyuu is absolutely incredible too. Him, Sawano (AOT, Seven Deadly Sins etc), Katou (Free!!, Dr. Stone, Food Wars etc) and Evan Call (Violet Evergarden) are ALL geniuses and I can listen to their work any time of day and night.
This one of the most bonechilling ost's I have heard in a while. I absolutely love this anime, and if you start reacting to it, I am almost positive you will love it as well.
This OST hit even harder when I first heard it in the episode. Hearing the same tune as what has played for the entire show get words added to it totally shocked me and such a huge impact. I also just generally loved this arc and how it made the show much darker.
Dude, I think you should start reacting to this series. Especially, when you get to the part where this OST is played. (I think this OST is played in the movie or in an episode). I'm telling you, you'll feel goosebumps when you watched it.
It is played in Season 4 and in the second movie. The episode aired before the movie came out so we heard a bit of it before anyone saw the movie. One of my favorite OSTs.
I love this OST so much and I can’t tell you how happy I get whenever I hear it again! Chills every time! I watch MHA and it just brings back so many memories in a way. I think the season that uses this song is probably my favorite and the movie that uses it is either my first or second favorite out of the three. I hope that maybe one of these days you’ll watch My Hero Academia! The fandom is pretty toxic but the anime itself is good in my opinion
2:25 That part of the song gets me every time as a my hero fan. Anytime I hear this part of the song, time slows and I absolutely go back to the scene of him saving eri and in the movie 😭
"Why do you do this to me?" Better question: Why do I do this to MYSELF? I can't remember the last time I heard this song without tearing up a little. The vocals, the orchestra, the hints of You Say Run in the second half... it all just works for me.
By far my favourite OST from My Hero. This just hits different 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 If the final fight scene of the 2nd movie wasn’t already amazing, this OST just takes it to the next level
Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe she was 16 or 17 when she sang this masterpiece, which makes it even more amazing. Having such a powerful voice at that age is nothing short of an achievement 🔥💪🏽
I haven't heard this song in over a year, haven't seen that particular episode in even longer. And it only took the first few notes to make those onion-cutting ninjas to rush back in, it's glorious.
I would definitely recommend My Hero Academia, its one of my all-time fave anime and I cant wait for season 6 to come out soon! This theme OST actually is a big theme in the series, and they upgraded it with this version of it ^^
I love this song not because her voice is just insane but because who ever composed it allowed her voice to be an instrument among the orchestra, towards the end she's doing these crazy runs and eventually they just blend into the background but you can still pick them out if you listen and its just magical. Her voice and Orchestra becoming one as the song goes on. So good! Honestly both versions of this song as great, you should 100% react to the fight scenes that went with them now.
Whenever I hear this OST it always brings me to tears! The emotion of the music plus the remembrance of the scenes in 'My Hero' are just soooo emotional it's hard not to cry...all the emotional 'My Hero' music + OST have such depth in them while you're watching the show! Can't wait for you to react to My Hero in the future!
I never heard to this before and I'm just glad I listened to this with Nicholas and that our reactions were the same(i was jumping around the room like how zenitsu uses thunder clap and flash 6 folds)
•From the anime (as I am back a few seasons) THIS MOMENT; always makes me hold my breath, it’s like free falling endlessly into the warm embrace. And Flying more freely than ever before. - I’m glad others not just you got emotional/had a positive reaction to this song.
If you ever decide to react to My Hero Academia, two things: 1. You’ll hear a lot of differing opinions on the series, make sure you try to form your OWN opinions. This series gets far too much hate than it deserves, and that’s mainly because the fandom is so toxic, but that has nothing to do with the series itself. 2. I would suggest to pay attention to comments because there are people who will point out some things you might have missed out on, because the recent seasons of the anime haven’t been adapting the manga AS well as it could have, but it’s nowhere near “bad” all on its own.
Best thing is to avoid the fandom me and my siblings enjoyed the series and it always have a special place in our heart. Especially for me I adore this anime so much because it is the first anime that my brother and sister got into and it's such a beautiful experience to enjoy it together with my siblings. Thanks to this show my brother and sister are being a complete weeb, binging many great animes like HxH , Vinland Saga, Hellsing, Dr Stone, DS, JJK etc.😆
@@Abiee69 same. I wasn’t even aware of the terrible fandom until maybe after season 4 (which was and still is my favorite season), and it’s not going to change how I feel about the series one bit.
It's not even about the fandom, the anime quality just took a dive off the grand canyon. Even the most die-hard fan accepts it. Bones HAS TO make season 6 excellent
@@mehmeterciyas6844 I think the fandom is the MAIN reason people hate it. And it’s not just the anime, people hate the the entire series because of it, including the manga.
If you've got that emotional only from hearing the OST can't imagine your reaction to the actual scene and the story behind it You should definitely watch Boku no hero that should be your next anime
This song had me bawling my eyes out when that scene came on, my goodness!! As I always tell people, this show amps up each season and is highly worth watching. I would love to watch your reaction to it. Some people find it slow at first, but I promise if you stick with it, you will love it. I personally loved it from the beginning
This is a collection of Hiroyuki Sawano's masterpieces that I recommend. (Hiroyuki Sawano is the composer of Attack on Titan ost. ) ru-vid.com/group/PLafQf_tlH4sIgN334MJOMc1sN3gADE-5Z
*_Detailed explanation of the songs introduced in this article_* “ *APETITAN* ” (from _Attack on titan_ ) As you can tell from the title, this song is about the Beast Titan. It is the song played in the scene where the Beast Titan first appears and in the famous scene where Erwin leads the Scout Regiment in a decisive charge against the Beast Titan in the midst of a hail of projectiles. The powerful back chorus is a must-hear. There is another version with vocals produced based on this song. If you want to hear the powerful vocals, this is also recommended. ↓ “ *SymphonicSuite[AoT]Part2-3rd:Before Lights Out* ” “ *Vogel im cafig* ” (from _Attack on titan_ ) This song was used in the scene where Eren's mother dies mercilessly in the first episode of Attack on titan. The low tempo of this song is very moving and will grab the heart of anyone who hears it. “ *Barricades* ” (from _Attack on titan_ ) This song was memorably played when the Scout Regiment was sweeping up former comrades who had turned into Titans, such as Pyxis, after the Rumbling was triggered. The symbolic lyrics are set to a light rhythm. “ *βios* ” (from _Guilty Crown_ ) This song is the OST for the anime "Guilty Crown," which Nicholas liked in your anime OP reaction. The distinctive sound and the vocalist's powerful voice are a perfect match. “ *UNICORN* ” (from _Gundam UC_ ) Even Nicholas, who recently opened your door to anime, may have heard of Gundam at least a little. Hiroyuki Sawano has also been involved in the creation of music for some of the world's most popular robot anime, Gundam. This song is one of those songs, and is in a sense the most famous Sawano's song in Japan. In Japan, it is said, "If you listen to this song, you will surely win.” “ *KABANERIOFTHEIRONFORTRESS* ” (from _Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress_ ) This song is one that is especially recommended to Nicholas. This song is the OST for an anime called "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress.” This anime was created by the animation staff of Attack on titan and has been highly acclaimed for its artwork, music, and story. The vocalist's voice is so powerful that you will be enraptured and will be able to ascend to heaven when you listen to this song. In addition, I also add to the playlist the *live video version* of the song " *ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn* " that Nicholas was recently reacting to. The live performance is nothing short of spectacular. These are the six(and etc) Sawano’s songs that I particularly recommend. As Nicholas said, Hiroyuki Sawano's songs have a story behind them. They are like a movie in spite of the fact that they are music. I hope that you will listen to not only the songs introduced here, but also many of Sawano's songs for each animation work. You will find many stories and many favorite songs. Thank you for reading this far, although it may have been difficult to read as it was translated by a translation site. Best wishes to Nicholas for the future!
I know a lot of people call my hero mid but I recently rewatched it and in my genuine opinion its pretty good, its not god tier but it has some amazing moments, and also some fairly dull moments (and i dont mean that the dull moments are not enjoyable for watchers but rather that they just arent for everyone), but in general I think its pretty good and worth while watch. Over all I would recommend this to people especially if there fairly new to anime, the shows highs make it worth watching. Even the movies manage to be pretty good while also avoiding any massive story plots that could interfere with the general progression of the show. While there are some downsides to the show some of the music within it just brings such a strong emotion to some of the scenes.
These news few arcs are gonna shake the shounen genre. And based on where the manga is rn, it could be one of the legendary anime's among the community
YEEEES! i love this show with all of my heart, I definitely recommend that you react to this anime when you finish the ones you are currently watching, you will not regret it
Honestly, my longtime favorite OST is from Bleach, composer Shiro Sagisu makes some incredible music! All of the tracks are amazing so it's hard to pick a favorite, but right now I'd think perhaps "Number One." I always get chills when that track comes on because I think of the badassery going on in that moment of the show.
Yea, my favorite OST is also from Bleach. I think, in the vein of emotional tracks (like in this reaction), Soundscape to Ardor is incredible, but my personal favorite is probably just Battle Ignition. It's just too iconic for me, so many good moments while that one plays. Battle Ignition is probably bad for a reaction vid though...
I hope this is a sign that you are reacting to MHA next!!! It’s so action packed yet so heartwarming , it’s like spyxfamily but with a medley of awesome characters, you wont regret it. ✨✨
This ost always brings me to tears. Glad you felt what I feel every time I listen to it. The usage of it in the Anime and the climax of Movie 2 is point perfect. Sometimes it pop's up in my playlist during workout and I feel like the best in the world, bawling my eyes out, I do not even care.
This is easily one of my favourite OSTs in any anime ever. It's just so incredibly beautiful. I still remember tearing up at the scene this played at in the series, it was magical.
This music still give me goosebumps everytime I listen to it, definitely still my favorite ost with Made in Abyss one speaking of that I recommand them cuz they are pure masterpiece: -Rumble of Scientific Triumph (Made in Abyss and main villain theme and definitely the BEST villain I've ever seen) -Tommorow (Made in Abyss and episode 1 opening scene) -Transcendance and Hanazeve (Made in Abyss) this one have Hanezeve Caradhina in it and I would definitely recommend it if it wasn't already in this one, but anyway Might+U and Transcendance and Hanazeve are on the same level of masterpiece for me Also just watch Made in Abyss cuz even if it look like children show, it can be very serious at time and is one my favorite anime ever for everything in it, from scenario to music and world building.
Yes! OSTs are some of the best things from anime, Bleach, MHA, Kill la Kill, Soul Eater, and so many more have some of the best songs in anime, so many different styles, definitely worth the experience
Bro this anime has a special place in my heart, I watched this show when the pandemic started and online classes were going on, so I usually spend time watching mha to relieve stress, however I got so much motivation from many of the scenes that I got huge score in my final exams. I'm not compelling u to watch this show ,as it is not everyone's cup of tea but try if u can 🥰
Anime is a treasure chest filled with some of the best music+animation combos ever created by man. And My Hero Academia is one of the latest masterpieces. Glad that Nic is one of the best promoters of this genre. All is shown on your face. No words are needed. Also... Another unique obligatory like aaaaaaand comment!
It hits even harder when this plays in the show. MHA is by no means one of my favorite animes, but the episode where this plays is among my all time favorite episodes of anime.
I remember watching the overhaul arc and when this song played I had a few tears when the scene came and when the second movie dropped I was shedding tears in the theater when it came back and what the scene meant
I absolutely adore this series, it's characters, music and themes EVERYTHING. I've never loved a series as much as this one. You GOTTA react to You Say Run, Symbol of Fear, All for One's Theme and Bakugou's theme. All masterpieces!
THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT THAT NICHOLASLOGHTTV STARTED MHA… AND HE ALREADY WATCHED THE FIRST AND SECOND EPISODE! I CANT WAIT WHEN HE WATCHES THE 2ND MOVIE!!!🔥🔥🔥
MHA is a Really Good Show & The Best Part i found about it was that I Cried *ALOT* while watching the show even when sometimes it's just two Characters fighting each other 🤧
I watched this again today. I am currently on episode 106 and I decided to watch this video. This ost is so amazing that even though I had already heard it twice, Iliterally cried just now and I don’t mean getting teary eyed. I mean literally crying. I love My Hero Academia so much!
I remember the first time I've heard this one. Such an amazing moment (I saw the film afterwards) I've heard this song on repeat several times. A lot of animes have incredible OST 86's OST (all the reactions have the youtubers crying everytime a certain song sounds and in the last episode too... same gruop as AOT) Naruto's Sadness and Sorrow Katekyo Reborn's Tsuna awakens (listen to it if you want to feel fired up) Guilty Crown ost in general, but that first song in the serie, wow FMA's Kesenai Tsumi and so on...
