Yeah... We do not claim this knobhead. DUIs are declining massively here, especially with ride share apps these days. That being said, .28 BAC is amateur numbers.
How drinking is handled in other states vs Wisconsin is insane. I moved to MN and they say to avoid drinking charges people will hop over to Wisconsin since they are more easy going.
Yep my niece and her kids got t-boned by a man who was wasted by 10 am. That was his NINTH DUI. I'm positive they'll let him back on the roads for his tenth.
@@Dani.J. while here in Hungary someone I know had a little drink, got in his car, I don't remember if he bumped into something (not car or anything big like that) or the cops were just there at the right time, and got his license taken away for 2 whole years and has to take the driving test again to get it back after the two years.
@@viviennart Here in Ohio, your fist dui you get your license suspended for a year and have to take a drivers ed course. After your 5 or 6 one (cant remember) you get a felony conviction and have to do prison time
Well a previous comment points out that the .3 alcohol level is like, you can get alcohol poisoning and usually people cant even stay conscious. So his alcohol level 😬 yikes lmfao 😂
I used to work private security at a truck stop/diner combo, and one time some these two local guys came in around 3 am, completely smashed, couldn’t even operate a fork without two hands to stabilize the pronged end. I tried to convince them to sober up by sleeping in the small theatre on site, but they insisted on leaving, so I called the cops cause I didn’t want them to leave in their condition. Cops showed up, gave both guys breathalyzer tests. One blew a .34 the other a .42. Both were arrested, and one of the other locals who was eating at the time told me they both worked construction for his dad’s crew and were professional drinkers. .42 dude couldn’t even talk he was so out of it. Then I’m the morning the GM was mad at me for calling the cops on them cause “those are two customers that aren’t going to come back here”. Like bruh, they don’t even remember what galaxy they were in.
Dude they weren't gonna come back either way once they inevitably died from drinking and driving, and possibly taking out innocent lives in the process. You GM sucksssss lol
I was arrested for a DUI, 3 times legal limit. I blew a 0.24, and I was about 125lb at the time. I can confirm, 3x the limit is wildly dangerous to drive during.
Just for reference, when you look at the BAC level for how drunk someone is, .3 is the level for liver/ alcohol poisoning and also usually the level where someone falls unconscious
but don't you blow much hotter right after drinking? not trying to justify his actions, but he may have residual alcohol in his mouth that made his test read higher
@@_uncle_philit’s possible, but if you chew gum or anything to take the residual out of your mouth, you’re still getting all the alcohol coming out of your bloodstream and into your lungs
Wisconsin is known for our drunk drivers, sadly. This guy probably got off on a lot of charges in the past because the drunk culture here is pretty insane
I got T-boned by a drunk driver in Minnesota not too far from Wisconsin, she died and I was severely injured, both cars totaled. Had to fight tooth and nail for my medical bills to be paid bc her insurance was in the process of splitting up her estate for her 3 middle school age children. Lose, lose, lose scenario :(
From what I heard Wisconsin has a heavy drinker culture, heavy drinking is very common there and the drunk drinking laws are more lax compare to other states, as some other commenters said the first DUI is treated more like a warning. I think the guy was trying to excuse his drinking or thought maybe the cops were go easier on him since “it’s so normal in Wisconsin” or “Typical Wisconsin”, either way it’s a poor ass excuse and makes me a bit mad he trying to excuse his actions.
They HAVE to react to the one where the cop started randomly shooting after hearing the sound of an acorn falling on his cop car. That guy was PTSD or something sort of traumatic disorder, can’t even hear the acorn or any noise before the cop in that clip starts shooting randomly and calling out “SHOTS FIRED!” When the suspect was seemingly calmly sitting in the car. It’s such a weird clip
The thing that baffles me is how can you even think about driving when you are in that state. I feel a threat just walking around a house with other people, let alone using a car
You aren't drunk enough if you still have thoughts of reason. I quit drinking. I'd go from 6 to 12-14+ beers in a couple hours. Unnoticeable to me how belligerent I was getting. I feel lucky to realize that before I ended up like this. Or my alcoholic family. If you can enjoy alcohol safely, more power to you.
When ken said "Take me home ", it reminded me of when I asked the cop if she was gunna take me home after getting a dui, nd she replys "oh no baby your going to jail" I was appalled 😂😂😂
Jail deputy here. I've had to deal with some drunk idiots before after they've been arrested for a DWI but this is just off the wall. I dont think I could keep my composure if he came in.
A good DEV can make your life amazing, and, if needed, can make the metaphorical bodies disappear. A bad one, well, they can make your life a living hell. Upside down the emoji
13:29 At . 25 BAC, many people pass out. If a person is still conscious at this level, vomiting becomes very likely, as well as a complete loss of physical control.
@tetrasphere8165 it's very dependent on the individual, everyone is a different shape and size and has different metabolic rates, but also they do provide a general warning for how much is too much for liability reasons
8 months myself… part of my feels bad that the entire internet gets to make fun of him but this is pretty dang funny … he was dedicated to doing those exercises 😂 alcohol make you so stupid 😂 he probably didn’t even remember the next morning
I'm so glad you still post. It's been a few months since I've been offshore in the gulf on an oil rig. There is no service there AT ALL! I'm catching up. Thanks to you and Dane! Yall make me laugh! - Southern roughneck! 😂
Omg I love this kid! Best dui arrest ever! "I bought this ENTIRE car a couple months ago." Yup... That generally how purchasing a car works, you buy the whole thing.
I called my local police a while back because the person driving in front of me was very obviously drunk, later the officer that pulled her over asked me to come in and give a statement on video of what I saw. He then told me that when she took the breathalyzer she was at 0.36 and the DA just wanted to have a statement from me to make it that much easier to convict her.
That’s really not how it should be done at all. In the age of Uber there’s no excuse for drunk driving. Way too many people have died from selfish people choosing to drive when they should’ve been responsible.
Omfg, this guy is hilarious lol. I was smiling up until he asked if he should follow it with his balls then I lost it lol. How could the cops keep a straight face at all??
I'm so happy at Dane's reaction when that guy said TAZE ME . Oh dang I nearly took myself out swallowing my soda. Why don't I ever learn not to try to drink anything while watching Ken and Dane?
a BAC of .248 is listed as the following: Loss of consciousness, non-responsive, respiratory distress, cardiac distress, lack of comprehension, severely impaired mental/physical/sensory function. a BAC of .25 is listed as: Onset of coma, risk of death. So the fact that he was awake and not fighting for his life is insane. Actually insane.
As someone who loves her liquor, I would be so ashamed to be in a situation like this. 😅 If I have had even one drink, I don't drive for the next two hours. And if I plan to drink for a whole evening, that car ain't moving an inch before I have had a decent night's sleep. I might be an "alcohol quantity connoisseur" but cars and liquor don't mix. Ever. And I'll forever stand by that.
@@maxh129 That is for the most part what I do as well. But if I for some reason would get some sort of a call from e.g. a relative wanting me to pick them up, there's no way I'm jumping into the car.
During that walk the line test I was listening without watching and it just sounds like the talk between a parent and their child when they're on the toilet for 30 minutes and the parent keeps asking if they're done pooping
