Her whole kit is designed for aggressive plays but her kit is just simply lacking she’s not bad in a traditional sense because her kit works it’s practical but there’s simply better legends that have better mobility, better passives, better tacticals, and better QoL Her kit needs a lot of things added to it to make her actually good
With Greedy Snare, Arc snare can hit enemies twice if they are first hit with it while it’s flying, then they’re hit by the snare that spawn when it hits a surface. Coupled with how Arc Snare is a two handed ability if you choose twin snares you’re throwing your damage potential.

Use to play plenty of ash when she came out ~1k kills, then never played her again until they gave legends the perk upgrades. I now have about 2400 kills with her and she really is a solid legend. Perfect for aggressive players and her upgraded snare to grab multiple people is incredibly underrated as an ability
I’m late to the game started playing 5 months ago and strictly maimed ash. I can for sure tell you getting good with her and then going to any other legend will make you feel so good at the game lmao
Being perfectly honest as an Ash main as well, Ash is really underappreciated by the devs, tho she got new perks from season 20, she is still difficult to use. To use her properly you need to be aggressive or do alot of dmg to get her perks fast, and not only that.. level 2 shield perks is rather useless unless you hotdrop and be aggressive. She would be no more than perfect if these changes gets applied in the game 1. Instead of making her snare faster like everyone is sayi g, make it so it increases in speed the longer it travels 2. Make her snare be usuable while the gun is out, there's a big delay with her throwing her snare, leaving you open for a second if you're aim dueling with someone 3. Increase her ult range, 70m is not enough, even just 30m increase is totally fine, it's mostly rendered useless in matches because it's only good for closing in distances rather than thoroughly repositioning as well, only in late games is where her ult really matters, and the little long of a cooldown make only usable once or twice
Ash is underrated, all she needs is a better more consistent way of getting her ult through windows. Her passive i don't think is ever utilised by the average player and could be reworked. An upgrade option for the snare would be tightening the radius to where the snare is so they can't be walk around entire corners and rooms.

Had no idea you don't need continued line of site for the ultimate. Never really thought to do 'set it off then run' type plays with it, though I've probably less than two hours of ever using her tbf. Makes it way more strong.
One thing that 95% of Apex Legends players(yes i pulled that number outta my butt) forget about, is that AIM>>>>>>>>movement/abilities. bring someone with just 90% accurate AIM and put him against a Movement Devil, the Guy with with good aim would trash on the Neostrafing SuperGliding mantleJumping Movement Expert every single round
Ash is way better than people give credit for. The snare is actually easy to hit and the multiple snare perk is unbeliaveable fun. Try snaring the base of a jump tower and see what happens when a team goes by. FREE. KILLS.
I like ash because shes really good at hunting down those pesky octanes and wraiths on your team who run from the fights they start. Us ash mains are on pest control. You're welcome.
The input that people only play because it aims for them isn't *better* at doing any manual input, aka, actually controlling the game. It's a crutch. Ya don't need it.
craziest part of this video for me is learning that apparently me and cloudy are the only people to think about using ash's abilities in this way. Like, my skills aren't comparable to cloudy's but he used ash's kit in like the most obvious way possible, that's not a bad thing cause that's literally how her kit is designed to be most effective. which leaves me with the question of how do normal people play ash
i do the same but im on console so toned down with movement but i do feel like im above average for movement on console. i do see some wild controller players tho they r fun to watch
@snootgoot something ive wanted do with a three stack that ive never been able to coordinate is have it so that my team mates throw grenades just as i snare someone since arc stars' fuse is as long as the snare and forcing someone to sit in thermite is funny
