That first match with Alucard is why I say you should always run Distortion if you want to use the Invocation in the basement. It probably would have worked out much better for him.
Hi Negoose, if you take build suggestions, it might be fun to try the Totally in the Dark Dredge hex build: Dredge - Hex: Third Seal (blinds survivors) - Hex: Two Can Play (Flash Blinds survivors if they stun or blind you) - Hex: Plaything (makes survivors unable to hear your terror radius) - Hex: Pentimento (if the survivor start cleansing the Hexes, punish them with Pentimento) Add-ons - Broken Doll (increases duration of Nightfall by 20 seconds) - Your favorite add-on that speeds up the Nightfall timer So the idea is obviously to confuse and jump scare survivors constantly with the combination of Nightfall, Oblivious, and countering all their aura reads with Blindness, plus flash blinding them in chase after pallet stuns. It also opens the door to some scary slugging plays where the survivors can't see the aura of a downed ally and also can't see more than a few meters distance so could have absolutely no idea where to go. They might even lose track of survivors you hook during Nightfall since after the initial bubble and sound there's no aura and unless they're very close to the hook might not even know the area it was in. If you think Plaything is too redundant with being Undetectable during Nightfall, a fun alternative could be Scourge Hook Monstrous Shrine. Again, between the Blindness and Nightfall darkness, if you manage to hook someone on a Monstrous Shrine Hook it gives them even less time to get rescued. P.S. This is kind of the opposite of the Auras All Over build in this video, instead of you seeing survivors all the time the survivors are never seeing or hearing much at all most of the match. 😄
i cant blame ya for campin the two in the basement in the 2nd game. 2 on hook down there, 1 person accounted for, there was only 1 place the last guy to go and thats to the basement.
You should try the this build with plague. New hex perk from Dracula, plaything, pentimento, and thano. Same addons, it’s a massacre and a really slow down build.
All my matches are online. A great way to tell an Online match from a Custom one is to look at the endgame screen. An Online match will show an 'Upgrade' option at the bottom right side of the screen, while Custom matches dont have that 'Upgrade' option. Also an Online match will have the 'Daily Ritual' icon's highlighted in a solid black , while in a Custom match the Ritual icon is dulled (This can be found on the bottom left hand corner of the endgame screen) Feel free to try this yourself. Thanks for watching!
