Today on Hearts of Iron 4 I'll try and save this Austria Hungary disaster and try and save this hoi4 save from being gobbled by Germany. Can I do it?

If you sent this one in for future reference you can just put your spy on diplomatic pressure and improve relations with the germans and then get a non-agression pact in early 38 and then you get to keep sudetenland without having to worry about the germans attacking you pre ww2. I think this also helps you in the "demand transylvania" and "protect czechoslovakia" decisions but i'm not entirely sure.

At least I wasn't the only one who struggled with AH in NSB. I love that the ai will now not attack a strong line, but bomb the shit out of your supply and crush your under- supplied units

Battleplans are only good when you're too lazy to micro and have an advantage. Never use them on a large scale if you aren't stronger. Also, building towed AA and replacing one battalion of infantry with it, (or just adding an AA support company,) would negate most of their CAS, which is what does the majority of the killing.
