I used to have a Golden Guernsey goat that was just like Lily. She looked identical (except Ivy was dehorned), she too was very very small - half way between a normal Golden and a pygmy goat. She used to come out in the car with the dogs and we'd take her to various places where she'd walk along with us, tasting everything leaf or berry.

You can get a good sense how animals are being treated per their reactions to their owners in a situation where they are presented with a choice. When you see them freely and excitedly approach, like they did with these lovely people, it’s rather obvious these owners care very deeply for their furry extended family.
