This is happiness? I find this incredibly sad. Can you understand why? A baby monkey, 'OWNED' as a 'PET', who WALKS on 2 LEGS (unnatural), with a BACKPACK and LUNCHBOX. He looks like he's forced to walk after someone luring him to get his bottle. He LIKES his backpack?
This is animal cruelty. It would be best to remove this video so you don't promote this type of cruelty. It's a BABY monkey. Where is it's mother? Baby monkeys don't walk, their mothers carry them around. Dude use your brain.
He is not their owner, those animals are not pets and they are illegally trafficked and exploited on RU-vid to make a living off of those little animals....What a stupid title he put....Now it turns out that the little animal talks...how crazy things
@@Mzqzithey’re not supposed to stand upright. The monkey didn’t ask to have a backpack on him and forced to walk like a damn human. Monkeys aren’t pets. Even if they don’t have a home, they shouldn’t be forced to live with a human who only sees it as a pet for their social media.
He’s adorable! I agree these babies are exploited and used and abused!!! Sometimes I would love to have one of these babies just for a few days! I would snuggle, cuddle, love that little thing and never put him down! 😂 I would never ever want to see a baby taken away from its mother!!!❤️
@@annamariaerdelyi7656bro do you not realize in the end she said but I would not want a baby taken away from its mother which means she most likely wouldn’t even try and get one
I bet you're right. No doubt, the monkey is only interested in being fed as he is hungry and made to do tricks and "entertain" people. I'm sorry to and for this monkey. I see sadness.
@@patrickspapens5497 he is wearing backpack why does he nned one + internet is full of people from third world countries abusing animals on youtube and most people think its just cute....
My very 1st thought was "Oh, isn't Pica cute".....that is, until I looked in the comments. I didn't realize monkeys are "taught" to walk that way by tying their hands back & probably putting weight in the backpack to prevent them from waking naturally on all fours. Thank you for those posts, you have enlightened me. Idk, I guess I just hadn't thought of the actual situation in which Pica is likely living. I have learned something from you all & it has changed my opinion. No, this isn't "cute", it's actually quite sad. To think what this creature has been thru/endured already in his young life makes my heart ache. Poor thing. Pica should be with his mother & own kind. He's a wild animal - not a pet & definitely not a tiny human. No way he'd be walking on 2 legs without being coerced to do so - it simply wouldn't happen otherwise.
At least you've taken what was said and learned the truth about these poor stolen babies instead of like most continuing on with their ignorance and still thinking it's cute and giving these ppl Likes & Shares. Most ppl are blind clearly or just don't wanna face the facts! Like seriously ppl believe this person saved him and this lil baby really wants to carry this book bag and lunchbox smh laughable! The ignorance is unbelievable
I would hope you did more than just read a couple comments to CONFIRM these claims as facts. Like actual documented reports or photographical evidence of such things happening.. just saying.
When I was a kid my uncle had a baby monkey that was abandoned at a doc in Hawaii. He raised it before a sanctuary was able to take it which turned out to be 6 years later. It was a Barbary Macaque. As a baby it carried a purse. She actually put things in it. Later it would take food from our plates and keep them in the purse. So many cute antics. From this experience I could see why they should not be pets. It is cruel.
@@MelodyAquines This is my viewpoint from working with animals in the wild and in zoos. I also had monkey and mynah birds as pets when a youngster and penguins in my home as an adult. In zoos I've worked with elephants, large and medium sized cats, and apes (orgutangs and gorillas). I have volunteered in a panda sanctuary in China and a cheetah rehabilitation sanctuary in Botswana. Seeing animals as pets, and in zoos versus in their own habitat, I have seen how free and happy they are in their own habitat. Bibi is exceptionally smart and is taken such good care of by her Dad, but she/he is more like a human than a monkey. He/she may live longer than her human but will most likely never fit with her own kind. He/she is eager to do things to help and please but they are not the same things she will need to do to survive in the wild. I have thought about this often when caring for wild animals. I would love and cherish BiBi but also make sure he/she has survival skills. I don't expect others to agree with me because my experience is somewhat unique and I do seriously love animals and they know it but I don't want them to only know human behavior because we can't predict their future.
The backpack has weights in it to keep the baby leaning back instead of forward to all fours. The owner is deliberately holding the bottle high to force the baby to remain standing. This is difficult and painful for these babies and causes spinal and hip deformities.
Super fucked up tho that people are mentally challenged and make monkeys wear human stuff and clothes …dude just wants milk and they making him dress up for social media
@@DgardsGaming yes I realize this. He still needs to be with his own kind. Too many people take these beautiful animals and make them pets. When they become adults and hormonal they get dangerous. They need to be with their own kind. Kind to kind, like to like. For their happiness and well-being.
@@pamelagabert4709 we do the same thing with dogs and cats, and other domestic pets. Do you complain about that too? Keep in mind that every single domesticated animal we keep today was also wild too once upon a time.
He deserves to be raised by his mother and to be part of a family group. Even if it was raised in captivity his ancestors were almost certainly poached from the wild.
Yah but he get feed really very along with good nurture and safe environment.....but they enjoy this just in their childhood....when he grown up ,he will definitely look for someone like him😢😢
Because most monkeys (primate) species are social creatures that need to be around other monkeys. Look up "monkeys as pets" and there are plenty of further reasons listed that I won't bother with here. To be clear, I am NOT referring to rehabbing monkeys that have been found abandoned or injured, and can't be reintroduced to the wild. This video specifically says "pet."
@@Akrammfkthee monkies are stolen from their mothers. especially in Cambodia. Theyre endangered amd terribly abused. People pay to request acts of torture. There's a guy on here, Yardbirds I think and you'll be horrified when you see what they're subjected to. They're not supposed 5o be walking on two, it's very damaging. The backpack is weighted so they're gorced to walk like that. they just got a shipment of 3300 of them in customs, implicating leadership.
This is an orphan baby. Don't take kids from their moms, just for you to enjoy. Even if it is a rescue you should give it to an animal sanctuary where it will be with other mothers to take care of it
Because the monkey was raised that way. Humans are goddamn jokes. Keeping animals smarter than us trapped in walls all day, they start to evolve into worse creature than they were prior to living with humans.
When I was little I had a cat, who I actually still have, I also had build-a-bear clothes… he liked being dressed up in them😭 he would just sit they while I gave him a Tutu and a jumper💀
Just how do you know this in anything but your overly emotional mind?Do you know these people or this monkey, are you neighbors, have you heard the monkey screaming for help? Most important of all is why is it any of your business??? Would like to add,are you for or against abortion?
Whether you believe in evolution or creationism, there was a time when humans didn't have backpacks and wearing it is uncomfortable but it serves a purpose. What if there are things in the back it needs later, that would show intelligence just like octopuses. Also all apes walk on two legs when their hands are busy. If apes evolved, the would start walking on two legs because the most basic backpack you can have is your two hand.
@@red3hereanimals usually ARE NOT supposed to walk like this CONSTANTLY. He was obviously trained by a bad owner for views. This hurts the animals, animal cruelty is serious.
@@theslickrips5904just shut the hell up and let the dude enjoy something. You must be awesome at a friends house when they show you their dog and you say "oh and wasnt he cute when he was forcefully taken from his mother?!?"
There's nothing cute or adorable about this. He doesn't LIKE to wear a backpack, he's FORCED to wear it so he has to walk on two feet. To get him to the stage where he can walk upright without stumbling they tie his hands behind his back to stop him from walking on all fours which is natural. Pica belongs in the wild with his own kind, yes he may be loved and coddled for now but once he hits puberty/sexual maturity he'll become unmanageable and aggressive and if/when he bites or attacks someone he'll be put down, all because some idiot thought it was ok to keep a wild animal as a pet
Forcing this monkey to walk only on two legs is cruel. It’s not natural for monkeys to do this except in short spurts. It’s bad for his back and hips. The methods used to “teach” him to do this are cruel. Making him wear a back pack is not cute. It is forcing him to be something he’s not - a pretend human.
It's more like the guy is walking backward, holding the bottle out, taunting the poor little monkey to make it look like he's walking all the way to the bottle.
The training to make him walk on two feet plus a backpack must have been torture. I’ve seen how they either tie their arms and hands behind their backs and force the monkey to walk on two legs. All the while the monkey falls or screams during this process, which can last for months if not years. The only reason he walks in this recording is to get food. Most of these monkeys are fed watered down powdered milk. The ratio of milk to water is always incorrect and within an hour or two, he will want milk again. These owners only keep monkeys for the $$$ they bring in. Once they are not ‘cute’ anymore, the monkey is either dumped at a park or some woods or sold to a lab or for someone who will torture and record for sick people who like to watch that. The monkey’s life is horrific once stolen from the mother, who is usually killed in order to get the baby monkey.
Stop writing a fucking essay off this, How do you know after this video he got back on all fours? How do you know he dosent have his family? We're you their when this video was filmed? No.
I know this is an accurate statement of the reality of the things that occur in this world. I want so much to be able to do something to make it my life's mission to stop this type of thing and make it right. How to help more is what I need to know.
@@coreywilkinson2778 - pretty much…. Reach out to any animal rescue that specializes in monkeys and they will all tell you the same thing…. Do your research…there are thousands of these people torturing baby monkeys for views on every single social media platform. RU-vid and Facebook are even facing charges in several countries for failing to remove this type of content. Think for a minute…..would it be cute if this was a human baby? Monkeys and apes have 98% of the exact same DNA and Genes that humans have. The difference is ability to speak…. Now really think about that.
that's how these things are in the wild too. I've studied them for years. they are obnoxious, annoying gluttons. they ALWAYS wanna eat, no matter what. doesn't even take an hour or 2...more like 2 minutes & I'm being totally serious.
So true angie abd these looney owners feed them rubbish as well .. Not cute suppressing their natural instincts . As they get older they get destructive and bite . Maybe these lunatic owners are in for a treat😅
The mother may have died or was killed. Typically if that was the case, rescue humans would take care of him and feed then try to expose him to other monkeys acting as they normally would to see if he could blend in and survive. Then slowly introduce him to the wild. But as stated we don't know what happened.
@@thaliahall4599well we know these aren’t rescuers trying to release back onto the wild. They’ve forced him to walk on two legs and carry a backpack (likely for money) for our entertainment. So yeah, we do know what happened. 🤦🏻♀️
