Don't forget GE, you can also make rope bridges in this game. You could say, put a door on the top floor of your base, put a tree platform on the island then connect them with a rope bridge. No base can be called complete without a rope bridge. You do want your base to be complete don't you? lol

It might be worth creating a little temporary platform on top of the roof, with a zip line and log holders, so you dont have to keep climbing the frame with only two logs.

Perhaps you can plank up a portion of the roof, forming a pathway, so you can easily fit the remaining logs and planks.

I build floor by floor to the roof, and than i put diagonals and than start removing unwanted logs from up to down. You cant take away upper logs, when there is no log down. So i make roof strong with diagonals, so i can take all logs out from down.

Thx for yet another great video of the build. I agree with Eric McLeod, rope bridges are cool, they are cheaper to build (less planks), and look cool. But travel wise it's faster with ziplines :)

GE, you can clean the blood off your weapon if you swing it at deep enough water. Not any effect gameplay wise as of now but still a cool addition.

@gameedged i was curious if you plan on adding rooms inside the building or if you're leaving it all open. Also in part one if you die you can get dragged off and free yourself once per in game day i think it was. Idk if it was the same for part 2 but at least its a frame of reference. I know for a fact you can do it more then once. Hope that helps.

For your being KOed like that, its unlimited. The only real limit is your health. But since your fully armored and healed, next time it happens you will be KOed again instead of killed.

Adding the support strut (angled piece) to the LONG section should allow you to remove the posts on the interior btw. at the VERY ENDS not in the middle.

If you're worried about them being in the way just build shelving around them. and no issues.

On all of the trusses starting from the bottom of each truss place a strut beam on every vertical to horizontal join going up the truss. do this across the truss and keep as high to ceiling as you can. once you've done each truss you should be able to remove everything below each strut.

Looks like it's going to be a beautiful build. Can't you remove a load of the pillars though? They are every other spot in one direction but every spot in the other direction. Either way, it looks great.

I have seen people get knocked out five or more times in a single stream. I don't believe that the death mechanic system is in the game yet, similar to how dysentery, poisoned food death, passing out from hunger and thirst, and other punishing systems are not active yet.

It may depend on the game settings because I've definitely seen several death mechanics with different players. They get tied up the first time and die the second with a cut screen showing death, inventory falling around you and time alive until death.

To make sure that you don't lose logs when they attack your base put log holders next to the wall and the full logs will go straight in them.

I got the flashlight returned home forgot to save walked into my hut their was a tribe man standing over my bed died after blocking does not block damage dies wakes up drowning starts swimming back to the shore remembers their was something marked in the water turned around died again from a shark. That’s the end of that play through.
