The game was never cancelled the game just didnt sell the nba live series had a ton of problems over the years and while 18 and 19 were improvements sure. The game still lacked massive depth compared to the nba 2k series franchise mode was still beyond bare bones and a ton of awkward animations. it would be nice if the nba love series continued but sadly the mass audience made up there minds with 2k. Plus it took ea way way too long to right the ship with the live series too many mediocre to god awful games in a row numerous cancellations . Plus even with 19 that was actually not as good as 18 ea still didnt right the ship for nba live.
I love how you 2K rejects come on NBA live and say the game is trash and the dribbles aren’t good. it’s just not the circus 2K game you’re used to just because you’re trash at the game doesn’t mean it’s a bad game. lol
