Brother Driv3r was one of my favorite games back then! My Step Dad, Cousin, and I would all sit in my living room on our big 65" projection screen blocky tv and binge this game. Would LOVE to see San Francisco played on your channel for sure! Also you should play Brick Riggs with Camodo again or SnowRunner lol

Driver San Francisco was the absolute BEST. PLEASE play that game on the channel, it would be amazing.

I remember my parents (reluctantly) buying this game for me on Xbox back in 2009 when I was 10. While it is a flawed game, and it definitely has its frustrating moments, I had fun with it. Never thought I'd see all 3 maps from the game be ported to any game outside of it, let alone BeamNG. Great video!

Speaking of porting other game maps, one I'd love to see is Midtown Madness 3. I loved driving around that game as a kid.

For as much hate as Driv3r gets in the gaming world, I adored that game! Spent sooo many hours into it, and vividly remember using a strip walking path along the beach as a makeshift rally stage. And yea, a proper recreation of the OG maps would be incredible, especially with the sandbox oval circuit arena

The second mission where you have to deliver a cargo has a wayoint. If you look a little higher, you will see a lightbeam pointing to where you have to go.

Oh man, I played so much Driver back in the day! I spent hours and hours making cinematic car chases using the camera angles in the recorded replays.

Dude, the racing game I played from my childhood was called "Spy Hunter" on NES, if it had graphics 1/10 as good it have given people heart attacks. lol

also Stuntman (if i remember) had explosions and stuff in it so there might need to be scripted explosions with invisible triggers and whatnot but aside from that and the potential need for dynamic props for some of the bits it should work well enough

You should definitely bring Driver: San Francisco back. I feel like that series you made a few years ago ended very prematurely

I remember being a kid and struggling just to get out of the tutorial/parking garage lol. And of course I didn't have a memory card so I had to start from the beginning every time lol

2004 seems like so long ago....but I was playing as a kid, Need for Speed on my windows 98, see-thru, colored Apple PC. That game was pretty good back then

No way lol. Recently acquired an OG Xbox and was looking for a driv3r copy (my old Xbox and copy got stolen long ago) I recommend you go back and play it, it’s actually a pretty fantastic story all things considered, good soundtrack and cast as well.

There was a Driver map port of Las Vegas that @davidinark played a few years back

I'm quite hopeful for a Burnout Paradise map port over with big surf island since NFS MW 2012 map is just as big as that. That map would be perfect with the amount of stunt jumps for it.

Woah! I gotta snag this one. The driver 1/2 maps were neat ports, but the polycount on buildings didnt match the LOD of the cars, and that took me out of it

I like that all the cars exept the etk cars manage to stop. but all the etks was the one crashing into the stopped cars. ETK=BMW. accurate BMW drivers simulation

GTA V is old enough that somebody should be able to port it in.

if GTA6 imports beamng driving characteristics, they could have a racing sim within the actual game.

Driver 3!!!!! OMG!! What a memoryes!! This saga had so much potential but GTA destroy them. I had the best days of my childhood playing Driver 1 with a friend but my favorite was Driver 2. PLEASE!! PLAY DRIVER 2!!!!

Is there anyone who knows about map making? Ive been wanting to recreate stuntman in Beamng for a while now, I just don’t know where to start with anything. Driv3r disappointed me in one big way. I remember there was a particular scene where you're chasing an NPC car which I think was a Cobra or something similar, and the idea is you really want to catch and stop this car for some reason (cant remember), and there was a particular spot during the chase where I got REALLY close to hitting them in such a way it would have taken them out. So I restarted several times until I FINALLY managed to smash into them, only to find they were completely on rails, not actually an interactable object but rather purely an animation. Totally ruined it for me lol.

Driv3r was good and bad at the same time.. i mean it was the first time you had kind of crash models, but meanwhile it wasnt focused on driving in firstplace, they tired to make it a gta experience, no good idea... telling as a Driver one and 2 kiddo ;)

The default maps would already suffice if only they fixed the AI... I'd be ecstatic if a bot could follow me on the East Coast properly. Also, they need persistent or semi-persistent cops - the incessantly teleporting ones are just dumb beyond all measure.

when is a ported map gonna be a normal mod instead of those download ones that i cant figure out its annoying makes me mad and sad >;(
