@@Ashmaker2they were in a sense. RUF cars would be Porsches pulled from the assembly line during production , and finished by RUF. Because they were assigned their own VIN, they could be sold as RUF, despite being a Porsche. It was a weird symbiotic arrangement

@@PedroPioLopeswould a Seat be similar to how Ruf works?, Seat is Volkswagen unibody but finished by a different company and sold under different name? Ruf is obviously a performance house making competent Porsches reach a next level, but I have seen some older Seat modes that start as a golf and end up with a better interior and a bunch more power than VW provided.

The real reason why it's a different car is that the chassis, suspension and engine are all deeply modified, so the car while based on a porsche has been modified enough to be considered different, sometimes they use whole other engine blocks when compared to the regular ones. I thought you were going to talk about Fiat and seat's relationship back in the 60's where a lot of cars shared frames and bodies but seat made their own engines and used Fiat's bodies

@@kj64gaming19 The new pessima is good. Try the detective special with AI traffic, if you can't catch anything, it's not the car's fault you find it boring.

Active exhaust is pretty common these days. All the Hyundai N cars have it, along with plenty of higher end sports cars.
