Its kinda crazy too imo. The way he freestyles is far more congruent with the golden era and silver era of hiphop and poetry than some modern radio hit kind of forms are. The jazz drumming background(and respect for the greats) is his konami code perhaps. He knows he is the whiteboy trying to be the greatest freestyle poet on the internet. He is fine with that goal. Hmack made one of the best aspects of hiphop an actually profitable endeavor. He probably already won. Now he gets his roses. He can perform constantly. He can sell merch. He can press vinyl. Harry just has a different and in my opinion faster brain. But Em has the hardcore backstory. I know for a fact Em is a legend to Harry

As Harry said, your cadence is awesome. The lyrics are a bit cliche (ie. like a wealthy misogynist rapper who only talks about sex, drugs, guns & money). Be true to yourself and try out some other versus that make your rhymes unique. Keep it up!

I think he does that purposefully. When he senses his audience is immediately won over and perhaps mostly familiar with new school styles...he goes old school immediately. (Do you really want to see hmack rap to neo trap style beats always? He definitely can, yet it is not his specialty). That dude understands jazz and blues rhythm. No question. And he likes to preach.
