I'm on a new bike, the Merida One-Sixty FR 600. It's a bike I've theorized might be perfect for MTB in Norway, but I have yet to put it to the test.
Season is on here in Norway. At least in Skien, where this video took place. I ride with Thomas Rambekk and Bjørnar Gjesdal in our backyards, and test some of our favourite trails.
It took some time to get used to new suspension, and to set up the DVO Onyx 38. I still have the wrong springrate on the shock, so I couldn't get a perfect setup for now. A bit wallowy and plush, but it felt good still!
I still need to put in rimpact, tubeless, and swap to some shorter 155mm cranks. That will happen soon.
Trails are in Gulsetmarka and near Fritidsparken.

This is very good bike. I ride Onesixty 700 for almost year now, and I can tell it. It is a beast.

What camera are you using, editing software etc? Riding footage looks good, maybe have vivid colours on?

Fantastic riding and very nice looking footage! :) What do you think about the weight and pedal efficiency for long climbs?

Thanks! Fire roads are perfectly fine. The lockout is great, and you don't notice the weight. But when it's a chunky uphill, you feel the weight for sure.

@@MarkusFinholt How tall are you Markus? cm.. wondering since you mentioned 490mm feeling a bit long. Figure an L Merida put it in the 182 - 192 cm range.

@@deadbirdwalking1159 I'm 187 cm. It's long compared to my last bike which was 470mm, but it's pretty perfect for my height. Just not used to it!

@@MarkusFinholt Nice, thanks for the quick response. Buying a new bike within the next couple of months, it's at 495mm and with a different stem I'm going 510mm. Should be perfect seeing as I'm 195 cm. Like your content:) let's me see some of the nice trails in Norway that I might ride at some point. For now it's the mountains around Bergen and the bike park in Hemsedal. The riding in Nesbyen look loads of fun. Fortsett ditt gode arbeid, svært trivelig innhold.
