Very nice review! This looks like a winning figure for sure! A Classic '80s Dazzler figure could pretty much use that body mold without much or any alteration, I'm realizing. I'd love to see a classic bare legs and sandals Defenders Valkyrie figure done with this buck! IMO, they haven't given us a good classic retro Valkyrie yet, and it's long overdue!

The new body is amazing because they could use it for characters like spiderwoman, but I would like for some of the Tom holland or Miles figures to have a diaphragm joint and an abb chrunch.

I put her next to power ranger lightning collection it seems like the tech used in the female figures from that line. Especially the Street fighter x Power rangers. It’s awesome definitely getting more than one to do some customizations

I think it's worth pointing out that Hasbro have had the Marvel Legends license since 2002. So, it's taken them over two decades to get to an ab crunch, a torso swivel and two shoulder butterflies on a detail-free, single colour female body. And, it took only 19 years to get a toe crunch on a Spider-Man figure. Innovation surely does take time at Hasbro, I guess. So, excuse me if I don't think this is the greatest and most excitingest evolution in the history of action figures, but Toy Biz were doing all of this AND finger articulation, toe crunches, and multiple points of torso articulation on their mainstream Marvel Legends waves in the 1990's. Since day one. They never used 'extra' ('premium') articulation as an incentive to buying a store, or convention, exclusive figure. Hasbro is increasingly adding £6/$5 to £12/$14 for 'exclusive' singles (almost all of whom have already been done as both a comic and MCU figure) because they feature 'premium' features like swap hands and head (Retro Sandman), terrible paintwork (any animated Spider-Man or X-Men ML Single) or um...absolutely nothing at all (Gorr, Sentry, 2021 Comic Baron Zemo, 2021 Comic She-Hulk). That doesn't make this Widow a bad figure (I like it a lot, but mine came with the belt upside down and the wrist gauntlets bent in half - great QA) but we won't be seeing the 'extra' articulation in mainstream ML waves EVER. Like...how many Marvel Legends waves have been 100% pinless since 2020? Outside multipacks, how many mainstream ML BAF (or Retro) figures have a toe crunch? You know that the answer is 'none', right? Why could Hasbro 'afford' to make all 3.75" scale Star Wars multi-articulated/soft goods and BAF'ed from 2005 onwards, but with ML in 2023 they are still dependent on either (a). pin jointed, 20-year old creaky-ass bodies like Bucky Cap (I) or Moonstone/Rogue/Captain Marvel etc. or (b). Crazy price singles (Japanese Spider-Man, Scorpion, Sandman, any XMTAS figure) with gimmick features ['extra' articulation, whacky animated-style paint job] for way, way, way too many characters. If you haven't been collecting long, you may not know (or care) about this, but Hasbro is really taking egregious liberties here, and training collectors to accept these practices. Seems like it works, and God knows, they get me to pay the stupid tax too from time to time. Like John Lydon once said: "Ever get the feeling you've been had?"

A deluxe Sue Storm on this body mold with all the effects would be awesome! 🤘🖤

So good that I got another Black Widow just to use as fodder for a custom Baroness figure. The GI Joe classified Baroness was pretty bad (difficult to stand and single jointed arms). Head and belt swap and add Cobra decals.

I got her last week, and she is a damn superstar. I did give her G.I. Joe Classified movie Baroness hands, which are slightly large and give her ability to hold larger-gripped firearms. I plan on displaying her with my G.I. Joe team, so realistic weapons are a must. The short hair head I got even had the hair brushed off her eye, so I didn’t need to heat it up and repose it. A solid 10/10 for me.

So weird to me that all of the 60th anniversary avengers figures are being sold at all retailers in Canada, but no one has Black widow. No one has it for preorder, not listed as unavailable, not listed as sold out, nothing. Just one third party seller on Amazon asking 70$ for it

Starting to build up my Avengers Collection and have a line up that I like, it’s gonna look something like this: Iron-Man✅ Captain America ✅ Thor ✅ Black Widow✅ Vision Scarlet Witch Hawkeye Hulk ✅ Ant-Man Spider-Man ✅ Wolverine ✅ War Machine Falcon Black Panther Wasp I’m about halfway then I’ve gotta start on the villains 😂😂😂

Just got mine today and oh my the new female buck . And she is awesome can’t wait to see what they have next when it comes to the females

the added articulation makes her feel flimsy, she is hollow and light, which in my opinion makes her feel cheap and not very satisfying to pose around

They need to use this body to make crystal of the Inhumans and a new original Valkyrie

I hope they redo Black Cat with this body. It’s just awesome. However does anyone get worried about the softness of the knee and elbow joints?

I am late to the party but really would want this character. Unfortunately, it is currently 43 bucks. I cannot justify that on such a character right now. Regardless how good it is.

Don't worry, Hasbro won't use this body for awhile. Hasbro has used double jointed pinless for a while but they still crew female character with single joint elbows and mismatch limbs of pin and without pins.

It’s strange to me how critical Marvel Legends fans hate everything that Hasbro does but are so happy about this figure. Marvel Legends fans hate reuse and repaints and this black widow figure is a reuse and repaint of syrin, sheirk, and quake. But all the RU-vidrs that typically hate on Marvel Legends have decided none of these criticisms are valid with this release. What about the price? Don’t worry the cost another constant compliant from “fans” and RU-vidrs alike. Well don’t worry it’s okay That this reuse and repaint is 28$ because it comes with more accessories. It just goes to show how sheepish marvel legends fans are if the RU-vidrs say 28$ is okay to pay the sheep or marvel legends fans do it. If a RU-vidr says reused, repainted figures that always get marvel legend fans complaining is okay suddenly it’s the figure of the year. You can’t make this shit up.

Calling out BS....this is a runty size female fig compared to their last Rogue, or the Spinerette. The new faces are really well done, the articulation is fantastic, but its a shame they had to go on such a runty flat chested model. 2 steps forward, 1 step back
