Dude you don't want to rev to 7000 if you're on stock turbo. Stock turbo drops off a cliff shortly after 5000RPM. You want to shift out at 5000-5500 RPM. Using dragy to compare drag times, I was roughly 10% faster when manually shifting just after hitting 5000 RPM as opposed to leaving it in full automatic shifting at 7000.
I have an F15 X5 xDrive35i. Its got an M Performance Exhaust and an aftermarket charge pipe. Everything else is stock. Close to 320hp, plenty of power for what i need!
Interesting... I have your same X5 model. Ive had it for 3 1/2 yrs and the only thing I've done is tinted the windows. I'm going to try that mod and see if I notice a difference. Thank you for all the content/vids.👍🏽
Don’t get me wrong I had f15 n55 stage 2 MHD custom tune 400+hp BO(awesome car, anyway) And it’s not even close to my new stock xdrive50i N63tu With just downpipes V8TT FTW
Thanks for supporting the channel family I really appreciate your support. I really meant a stock 50i but when all the mods are done with my X5 it'll be faster than my X6M was from the factory make sure you hit the Bell so you can see all the new videos and mods comfortable cars.
I just did to my f15, 35xdrive, stage 1 Dinan, down pipe and intake, m performance exhaust and I changed all my pipes from plastic to aluminum I don’t know how much horse it has now but 2012 M5 with 1 guy and I had 3 guys in my car was few cars behind us, the car is much more powerful and F15, V8 probably will not be able to compete against my car I was really surprised how it drives now!!! I had JB4 before and M power kit it was garbage vs the set up now! I wanted to do dual pipes like yours and I even purchased the dual head from 3 series BMW but I’ll try maybe buying set up like you did I like it and I’m wondering if I should change my stock intercooler or not? Did you change yours already?
Hey bro, thanks for this video and all your content. I’m currently waiting for the silicone pipe from Australia. I’m currently using Afe cai, What are your thoughts on that ? Also is there a way to that our F15s can run cooler?
Thanks for supporting the channel fam 💯 the AFE is a great intake for the F15 and the best way to cool the F15 35i is to tune it with BM3 and then turn on supercool mode. Most of it not all of the cooling systems on the F15 35i are computer controlled, but BM3 has the software to configure the cooling system for reliability.
Hey man love your content for the X5 and X6M. Just purchased my X5 and I see you have a front and rear bumper add on kit. I can’t this anywhere man. Where can i get that kit cause i have the same body as yours. And I’m definitely going to try this intake change
Congrats on the new beast. The link is below and thank you for supporting the channel. www.ebay.com/itm/Fits-14-17-BMW-F15-X5-MP-Style-Front-Rear-Kits-Muffler-Tips-/273001572053?hash=item3f902966d5
Thanks for supporting the channel. All the parts links will be in the description of this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qzHHGC8Ku3A.html
how fast does this car go 0-60? I have the same car. I have it tuned to 364 hp. I havent messured perfectly. but with launchcontroll i get about 5.5-5.7 sec
I guess they claiming the Dinan soft stage 1, gave me 100hp and 115ftp, down pipe about 40-50hp and the other stuff not sure how much intake and aluminum charge pipe and others but would love to run the car on dyno to see how much power it has now has to be over 450 the way it drives!
brother I like your videos, I always follow you I would like to know where I get that for the air I have a BMW X5 m sport 3.5 and I want to put that on it
Thank you for supporting the channel. I put a video link in the description of this video for part 1 of this mod. Under that video it will be links for the parts.
Thanks for supporting the channel. There are plenty of hoses that size in diameter here in the US but none I could find that bends to the correct degree like the Aeroflow does.
Yes it should fit. Make sure you choose the right link in the description because one link is for the e70 e71 and the other is for the F15 F16. Thanks for supporting the channel 💯
Thanks for supporting the channel fam. If it's just direct engine parts like water pump, a/c compressor and things like that then they should work if the X5 has the exact same engine you have, but the X4 has a different chassis so performance parts like downpipe and charge pipe that actually have to connect somewhere off of the engine probably won't fit.
Thanks for supporting the channel family. Here's the link www.ebay.com/itm/305124155408?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=ncB6E2WXS3G&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=ERPuNqj2R2S&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Thanks for supporting the channel fam 💯 I don't think the intake will fit the newer chassis X5, but I'll check to see if the newer chassis has a diesel version with the dual intake.
Thanks for supporting the channel. Yes, these mods will work on the E70 but not the same part numbers as the F15. You would need to contact vrsf and get the correct part numbers for the E chassis as the F chassis uses different parts.
Thanks for supporting the channel fam. Your X5 sounds pretty quick. I haven't been working on my X5 as I'm getting my X6M engine forged right now to make 1,200 HP, but if you're ever in the central Florida area when I get back on my X5 we can definitely race 🏎️💨
The link is in the description, but they're very hard to find now so you probably end up getting one from a salvage yard or brand new from the dealer. Whatever year or chassis your truck is either F15/F16 or E70/E71 just ask for the "diesel" version intake of the chassis that you have.
Yes it should fit the E70 and E71 but it's a different part number. If you go to the X5 playlist on the channel and look for the first part of this video you will see the link in the description one for the E70 and E71 and the other for the F15 F16 Thanks for your support 🏎️💨
@Pieter-Bas Schlaghecke I also would like to see your f85 x5m against my f86 x6m. Hopefully your x5m isn't stock because mine is 750 HP soon to be 1,000 HP
Probably around 5 to 10 at the wheels if you do the air intake filter as well, but if you're not planning on using it with other engine mods and tuning it's not worth doing honestly it's just a mod to help a car that has performance upgrades already like exhaust. More air and more air out equals more horsepower.
Make sure you hit the link for the E71 under the video because it's two different dual intakes one for the E71 and one for the F15 F16. Thanks for supporting the channel 💯
Thanks for supporting the channel fam. You are correct about "pure silicone" hoses deforming and expanding under boost, but not pre airbox on a turbo car. This silicone hose sees the lowest PSI of anything on the engine it's no way it's going to be able to expand that pipe no matter how much power the car makes and this particular silicone pipe is a seven layer aramid fiber strengthened pipe so even somewhere with high PSI it's not going to expand. Now "rubber" and "silicone only" couplers/pipes that's different story.
Thanks for supporting the channel. When I'm done with the 700 wheel horsepower build it will 🚀 Also my 1200 horsepower build on my X6M is almost done as well. You should check that out on the channel. It's currently the world's most highly modified and soon to be world's most powerful in the entire world🚀🚀🚀🚀🌌
Sorry you feel that way fam. I try to keep it low in the background to make watching a little easier because people rather watch videos that have more talkin with music behind it. That's the whole reason I added music because I was getting a lot of comments about not having any.
