Thank you guys for this. I just started playing after 10years and made a dark world deck. Very happy to see you guys giving me a good meta-breaking version to work with. I also hate droll very much.
Updating strategy... In truth, Dark World is my first TCG deck for more than a decade as I bought Gates of Underworld SD. I'll invest the list. Keep it up Crush Cards!
Awe thank you so much! 🥺 it’s one of our favorites and though not a lot of people play this variant.. we really do like it! Hope that you at least enjoyed it & if you do try it out, let us know how it goes. 💖
I really like this deck profile, I recently decided to get back into analog YGO ^^ and decided to build a dark world deck. I bought a single structure deck back when it first got released and already hade fun with it, but as a young 12-ish year old boy i didnt know much about the meta or even anything. I just thought it looked cool XD. I still have those cards today and im starting to build a reliable deck very soon. Im very hyped and looking forward to getting back to one of my childhood hobbys. I really enjoyed your explanations and visualisation of a turn, thanks. This was a much better explanation than others i ve seen. Oh and my favourite fiend is probably 'Absolute King Back Jack' so far, because i like my burn deck in masterduels so much :D
AAHHH so happy you guys made a Dark World deck, I have a soft spot for this deck since it was the last deck I ran back in high school and before my "hiatus" in the card game. Didn't really played much of it in college, in fact I played Pokemon TCG of all things, but I'm so glad to be playing the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG again thanks to Master Duel and the new incoe I have for physical cards.
@@CrushCards I been back for awhile 😅 I still tried to keep up to date with the cards though but wasn't really comfortable to start buying trading cards again till recently. Being an adult with adult bills suck
Wow.. Thank you. Had no idea about the field spell. But I still feel like this deck is very inconsistent. Ran with this yesterday and let me tell you.. Absolutely terrible night.. 0-3 And it wasn't even because of the opponent but more how I was drawing.
Favorite fiend; Honestly Snipe Hunter. Fun fact: My first box of the Battles of Legend set contained a Quarter Century Secret Rare and it happened to be an Assault Synchron.
Also its best to search grapha with rb first so you could bouce your rb with grapha and use the same rb to get the sillva next. (You had genta a genta bounce into field search/activat,before you used a danger monster, that way you do not draw the field spell
These memes mixed with dad jokes cut deeper and deeper every video. Do not stop! Infernity Archfiend is my boi and I miss him. Nothing feels more Yugioh than having no hand and top decking the fiend king to go off.
One perfectly timed droll and dark ruler will change EVERYTHING I'm still waiting for someone to make the dark world exodia deck...or at least make a rikka deck
Fiend is a cool archetype: For the OG fiend look it’s probably Archfiend of Gilfer or Summoned Skull (basic like that). For the new age stuff I love me Blackbeard and the Soggy Bottom Crew
Nice deck profile those combos take ages but its worth it!😂 and what i would love to see is an sacred beast deck profile that is updated to the meta that would be awesome!❤
Awesome deck profile been looking for a build to take to this upcoming case tournament and you guys were very indepth with your ratios and explanations of the combos. Would love to see an unchained live twin or just pure unchained profile
I initially was looking up a list for my friend but LOVE this build. Think I’m gonna make it myself 😂 what would you change now though in 2024 and update for the baronne?
obviously, barone stops the evenly but leaving the ceruli there can also stop it being played at all which is EVEN better!! (and what is ceruli going to do against this board anyway) Amazing video i love it!
@@CrushCards thank you guys for being so awesome and in depth with the card game as a whole truly loved watching the entire “let’s top locals” section ❤️
Very good list! Just few suggestions, I understans you are not fan of handloop, but that list is much better, as a commited DW player it really is. This is Droll/Shifter format, everything is playing them, so if they droll/shifter you you just go into bagooska, it counters all of those decks (for games 2/3 side in prohibition or sales ban) List is great very fun video, I would just kick out plague for ceruli and baronne for security dragon, trust me I did not play it, but when I started, it is good in both going first (handloop) and 2nd, bounce their things. Also you have to main 3 kaijus for Arise Hearth if you are playing rly competitive version, I would cut one chup and play 42, just my opinion. What do you think?
Thank you thank you thank you for not doing a hand loop version. I've been playing dark worlds (again) since the new structure and I'm so thankful to see a nice and clean dark world deck. Also my favorite fiend has always been and is Grapha. Followed closely by Muckracker and Dugaress.
Absolutely! Thank you for watching! We wanted to show something different, we know everyone is used to the standard hand loop but it’s kind of boring if we just show the same thing everyone else is doing! So we wanted to have some fun with it!
there's a lot of fiends i love. the type is just full of great cards in terms of design and character. my number 1 is certainly Dark Necrofear but Lava Golem is also up there
2008 meme? i was only 1 years old! speaking of my birthday... 10.1.2023 the ghostricks are coming. be ready brothers. (manifesting the ghostrick profile at the start of spoopy month)
My favorite fiend ever printed is D.D. Savant Kepler. D.D.D. Was my first deck I played when I started trying to play competitively and the crazy amount of combo lines with the huge amount of skill expression was a massive part of what keeps me playing this game coming from other tcg titans like mtg
First, my favorite fiend? Idk I don’t play fiend decks much. Probably tour guide. Second, 11:36 I bet you’ll draw over 20 cards bc card destruction at some point. I’ll say 21
I thought playing a tuner too, but in that case you should play a coral dragon to be able to summon baronne and get a draw in the process if you use multipul level 4
Noooo I LOVE YOU everytime you update this deck I feel like it's a love letter to myself and sir pops lol 💟 I remember the night you got the engine with me right before the first ever 24 hour stream!!!!
I really like the approach of the level 4 ratios to make bagooska consistently to beat droll. However I don't know if I agree that opting to not go for the handrip 4 is better since you are already playing ceruli and silva as well as akashic magician so your not winning out in space anywhere. Like near the end of the combo you already have protection, just play to handrip 4 over barone and its just better. I will say that if your point is to not search ceruli early in the combo and you only go for him later once you have set up apo, that makes sense since your beating bystials at that point, tho arguably bystial on silva also hurts a lot. Great combo regardless, both boards are probably winning most games I just feel that you don't play into anything in that combo if u pivoted to handrip 4 at that point.
I stepped away from yugioh for a while but I’m thinking of picking it back up. I’m just focusing on master duel first. Have you two been playing much master duel lately?
Lava is fine but for us, we are siding it. Going first it doesn’t offer you much & does really just stunt your plays if you clog on it. The dark kaiju could be a better option but still not really an extender, just better to draw and banish it off allure. :) we prefer to side deck these cards
I like the list but in my opinion dark world dealings is better since it is searchable and draws and dumps which is a plus for you. And yes i can help your opponent but the plus for you is better then theirs. But as awhole love the list❤
Thank you so much! So the honest answer to us choosing to cut the dealings is because you can give your opponent the ability to draw more cards :-/ if they draw droll 2 cards deep they have 2 news cards and still ended your turn. That’s the only reason though :)
@@CrushCards yeah i feel that. Droll deff ends your turn on the spot but like might aswell risk it for the biscuit. Since they always seem to have it turn 0. Atleast for me i did 2 dealings and 1 allure since my draw luck is almost always buns and i end up having to banish a combo piece. Where dealings is like a moth man except i never have to discard dealings.
You are incorrect here. It’s good to know that Muck only locks you once you use the effect. We summon her but don’t activate until after we summon plague & Barrone. We are only fiend locked after that.
At the end of the day it’s danger dark world, it’s not tier 1 meta game breaking 🤣🤣 this is just a deck we enjoy that people love playing, and we do talk about how to play through droll as well!
This is a common misconception. Muckraker only locks you into fiends AFTER you use her effect. That’s why we summon everything… THEN use the effect. :)
Id say im surprised some players need a reading lesson with Muckraker, but at the same time were yugioh players so it doesnt surprise me at all XD Also favourite fiend is The End of Anubis. My dude put in work as a mannequin cat target in tear format, and now hes making a comeback for me against unchained
The best fiend is Summoner Skull! He's just a lil guy with the Dark Magician attack stat. And he has been neglected by Konami for TWENTY FIVE YEARS! They wedged him into a bad archetype to shut me up. But I will not be silenced! Summoned Skull claps that purple outfitted magician every day! He looks dope af, single tribute, 2500, has lightning powers! Konami, the disrespect stops here. Give my son a chance. Let him live
@@CrushCards that is so awesome I’m so happy you and Bryan had a amazing time at nationals both of you deserve it and also I would’ve brought the shirt too for memories lol
Thank you so much for making a post DN Dark World vid! I have played Danger! Dark World a decent amount. My biggest deviation is that I have a hard time making space for card destruction. I know its literally one of the best cards to discard multiple cards to the grave, but I am always scared that if my opponent hasn't Drolled me yet, I am going to give them a fresh 5 draws in order to get it in their hand. Its the same way I feel about using Danger Mothman's discard effect. Do I want to extend my play at the risk of getting Drolled. Do you have any advice for this fear? Is it irrational or I am correct?
It’s not irrational at all! I think it’s more of a high risk is worth the high reward-because if you think of it the opposite way-what if your opponent was a sick hand and you rip it away from them and they draw into bricks and Garbo? The same thing can be said for either situation, but in a deck like DDW where you benefit 110% off of it, the risk is 100000% worth! I know it’s scary, but it’s absolutely worth it! 🔥
@@CrushCards Would you say that if you have drawn like two or three cards already and then you draw into card destruction, you should probably not use it then? Like only use it if you need it to continue your combo? Or if you use it after a couple of draws maybe you should have a negate ready for it if you can?
It can create a hand loop & rip every single card out of your opponents hands. While that’s not fair.. it’s theoretically “more fair” in a best of 3, but it best of 1.. it’s impossible to deal with.
