Sometimes people just wanna have a nice meal they didn't cook themselves and don't feel the need to organise a thing for it. If someone got a takeaway themselves nobody would judge, it's the exact same thing except you're going out and having a good time. A few times especially when away for conventions or business trips I like to go out to a nice wee restaurant, and just sit and have a nice meal and read. It's not sad because I don't feel sad even in the slightest when I do it. I think people will just regularly assume that if you're doing an activity yourself it's because you were unable to get numbers to join you, not that you're genuinely just happy doing it yourself.

Get a Garmin or polar or equivalent watch. It'll have a better GPS in it and a battery that lasts a lot longer. Mine has a battery that lasts like 25 days. I don't believe they connect to a peloton, but there might be an app for it. There's definitely indoor riding profiles. I'm just not sure if the peloton broadcasts at ant+ or Bluetooth or anything.
