I wonder if Jagex just went down the high score list and took note of everyone who's a bot how many people on there are actually legit players. Probably a worryingly small number.

It’s honestly so sad that bots are able to get hundreds of millions of xp before being caught... and not even by Jagex! How many more bot farms have gone on for years under Jagex’s nose?

Sir Pugger ive been camping Wyverns lately and there is an insane amount of bots! I saw a farm of 5 accounts all following a account and they all had 115 ranged

not sure if you're aware of this one, but huge red spider egg bot farm in edge wildy dungeon. Went there to get eggs on my ironman, there was a bot in nearly every world. All level 12-20 combat, they grab all eggs, run to just south of the monkey bars and hop

Oh, So the berzerker ring I stole was from a bot o.o the guy just tele out as I stepped into the Dks cave and I saw a Berzerk ring and he just hopped LOL

Its pretty obvious at this point that these accounts with massive amounts of exp that keep botting w/o jagex catching up ( despite 99,99% us players knowing they exist and where they are ), are somewhat related to companys with interests in jagex, otherwise how else would they go unoticed this long

Not sure how strong it is nowadays, but there are almost always a few bots at Blast Mine. You can break their AI by mining 1 step ahead of their route, and sometimes you can kill them since they don't react, and never tele away. Always a tad satisfying to watch the bot go back to Lumbridge.

the sad part is jagex would brag about finally getting them. they done that with the zalcano hiscores. like wtf how can you be proud they got away with it for so long?

10:53 @SirPugger In one of your previous videos you showed bots that would go up the ladder in the varrock wall just below the west bank where they were most likely muling off their gold. I was doing Varrock agility course on a fresh pure build and I 100% saw the same "PelvisPresley" bot you show here in this video at that spot. So I can garuntee you that is the same farm you caught and were curious about in the other video.

I wonder... TLDR: spawn a fake player and look at teleport response times. Full rant: Is it possible for jagex to force spawn a player, invisible (call it a ghost) in a region of the game? Can they also detect how quickly a player teleports since the spawn of this player? Now, it could just be that someone (not a bot) was teleporting as soon as jagex spawned this ghost so their results would need to be compared with future results. If a player teleports instantly or soon thereafter every time the ghost is spawned they deem them a bot. Some maths: if the odds of teleporting as soon as a ghost is spawned is 1% (for easy numbers) and this occurs 3 times, then jagex can be 99.999999% sure this player is not a real player.

Honestly, I am starting to think that more than half of all players are just bots. Can Jagex get some stats on this? It is kind of sad to see so many people abusing that and running bot farms.

Yeah I was wondering about the Scarab mages. I was training low level slayer and had a task on them and was surprised at how good the drop table was. I noticed three different accounts with similar stats and identical gear down there. I wonder how long that farm has gone and how much gold it's made.

I downloaded that runelite bot app. I have a guthan AFK garg account and I have like 170 confirmed bans there. My main has like 120 confirmed bans from just mining and WT. It's really nice seeing that I'm making a dent.

The people splashing seagulls are also mostly bots. The moment you kill the seagull they immediately log out. They go back in after exactly 1 minute.

If jagex started hardware banning bot farms they would disappear quickly

And people wonder why item sinks are OSRS' biggest demanded update alongside other content. Zulrah uniques tanked from a combination of bots and proposed Ranged Changes, Godswords and GWD equipment dropped, Barrows Gear mass-farmed, even bosses like Nightmare and Corp are suffering a bit from this. Meanwhile Sand Casino is seeing stakes up in the 10-12 digit GP value. Doesn't help Jagex often lets them go about their business until a transaction is made. Multiple top 20 Ranked KC's for DKs not only hacked their accounts but botted them for a fairly long time until just recently.

I think it would be great for Jagex to bring you on the bot busting team and let you ban them real-time when you find them so you don’t have to wait till jagex sees the reports

dag bots being undetectable makes sense since most people peek at the ladder and never go down to check

I've been seeing tons of high alching bots on GE recently. 80+ magic lvl with 40 def and most stats at lvl 1

They should pay out like a 5% tax of the gold your getting wiped out of the game. So you could actually make money bot hunting in game.

Check out the nmz bots all wearing jester capes as if the bot maker is making fun of jagex, there are several on every world.

Btw the 6:18 part really shows that these dump gold very regularly. 50 bots with combined wealth of 138m, after whips ( the weapon they use to kill them ) they had 28m in other items. Probably just their gear and close to 0 black masks. Whenever Jagex says " we can't ban them before they dump the gp " this is what is actually happening. They just lack either the interest or the resources to monitor them.

Well by that logic everything is being botted, because it's not only the rings. It's every item in the game. From bandos to primordials to ranger boots, dh crossbow etc. everything has gone down. Some things are half price now compared to 1-2 years ago.

Hey Sir Pugger! I have been bot busting the Air Obelisk bots and I noticed something kind of cool and maybe of use. I started at 76 killing them with ease and then it adapted and made the bots JUST under my range by like 1 level. If you had different level alts set up you could just straight up haunt them.

just found 5 accounts at dag kings with dinh bulwark, upstairs was a pure defense account. at the crack you peek was tons of lvl 79 accounts all with 80 prayer and minimal skills

If you're using Runelite, get the bot detector plug-in. Over 400 confirmed bans in the past 10 days from just walking around. They don't stand a chance against the plug-in if everyone uses it.

There is Also a bot farm lvling pure strength characters on sand crabs in crabclaw caves, there are loads of Them standing in the same place if you hop worlds. Found One in almost every german world. They wear iron armor and use a big hammer. Easy to spot

Green dragon bots discussion: some accounts are paid irl money while others are paid in bonds. Jagex gets $$ for membership each month less desirable to ban.

There are more bots on vyrewatch in darkmeyer (you need sins of the father quest) but there are many of them wearing monk robes and a verac helm, if you close the door of the altar you make them stay there for some minutes until they open it again. You are doing a great job busting bots but its sad how Jagex dont care about that, they could hire some mods to just run to diferent places baning bots 7 days a week.

Someone's probably said this already, but your math is extremely off in the wealth estimates based on how much xp they have. If a bot has 120 million combined experience in their combat stats, it's highly unlikely they botted against high level monsters the entire time from 0 xp to 120 million xp. You'll need an estimate of how much xp bots like these need, minimum, to start killing high level monsters efficiently, then you'd have to get the difference of "total xp - base required xp" and then do the division to figure out how many daganoths, green dragons, etc. they killed.

The bots on the cave horrors are the exact same that are killing normal fossil wyverns most of them kill the yellow spitting wyverns in the back because most people either go to slayer area or only kill the blue ones at the front

I challenge you to find me SirPugger. Someone posed as "super" before in your videos and that person wasn't me. I challenge you to find the real "Super." I am a former scripter/private scriper at OSBot and I know for a fact that I am not on your radar. I am front page on multiple bosses and I am slowly getting to the front page of CoX. Botting took runescape over years ago but I applaud your efforts to unravel and expose botters. Keep taking down my competition, I'm loving it :)

I've had a single f2p bot collecting cowhide for 4 years, 16 hours a day. Last I checked, over 21k hours.

The backbone & foundation of both the player base & economy of RuneScape exists because of bots. We’re in 2021. They are well aware of the state of 🤖. Jagex is choosing to profit in their dying days just as we would choose to do so as well. It’s very apparent what’s happening, and I don’t blame them.

I remember seeing a gargoyle bot when I was training slayer. It was using guthans and had 140m in all combat stats. That thing had been there for months. It never logged out even when I tried talking to it and interacting with it.

There's a massive bot farm doing Zeah blood runecrafting. Theres thousands of them across every world. They must generate 100b+ a month collectively... At first I though they might be alts but they all move to the same squares usually 50 base melee 90+ rc a piece.

Same shit goes on at Zalcano, runite rocks at every spot, amethyst mine place etc. I've seen bots with 120m mining xp at runites or amethysts

The bot reporting plugin flagged BLOBBERZ for me, and I have him on my banned list now. He had 33k Supreme and 31k Prime at his time of ban, rank 1 Supreme.

Hi, I used to be top 5 ranked Rex going over 3x rate for the pet. I can guarantee that there are still some accounts that are bots that should be banned. For example, Sirwooksalot(rank 8) and OG Vader420(rank 5) meet the criteria of only being ranked for Rex and no Supreme/Prime KCs, while Snow Mexican (rank 3) has barely any Supreme/Prime KCs. You can even find the some for a few of the other top page ranks but those are just for the top 10. I'm sure you will find the same bots holding down Supreme/Prime in the top 25 the have no Rex kc as well.

Jagex needs to relaunch high scores in a form that is easier for them to query such that they can gather information on the front pages of the high scores. It should be very easy to patrol the front pages once the high scores are easier to work.
