Stellar job. I used to have a Ford Excursion (V10) and while the engine is smaller it looks like they are moving toward that body size again. I was in an accident that should have been fatal but between the engineering and the lords hand my family and I lived. We have a Ford Flex now and I might lean towards heading back towards the large SUV direction.
Excellent review!! Just bought the 2022 Expedition Platinum for $84,854, with all options, plus $995 for a bullshit Dealer processing fee. Expected ETA is 6 months.
You don’t have to run premium (no where that I saw says that it does). If I was towing or running the engine hard I would definitely put it in. The GM 6.2 does require premium on the other hand.
I hate simple, dainty, charming anything! I love marble on my floors not wood. I hate old charming homes. So more technology the better. But to each its own.
@@anthonyv2645 that was my understanding. Kind of like buying the “Denali version.” Realistically, besides the higher grade leather and seat massagers they needed to offer something more expensive beyond the limited. IMO of course.
I had a joke prepared for that, haha but I cut it 😂 I was gonna say “and yes I know my beard isn’t great but my girlfriend likes it, let me learn from my own mistakes Dad”
Just bought one almost two weeks ago and I fucking hate it. Traded my 2012 F150 5.0 for it, and I feel like it was a step down. I've had a Suburban in the past, so I wanted something similar in size and passenger capacity. The EcoBoost has power, sure, but it's one of the reasons this damn thing feels like I'm driving a mini van. Now I'm trying to get rid of it and just get an F250.
See this is what gets me, family’s are willing to pay 80k for a Ford Expedition, while you buy a new land cruiser which is a better car overall and reliable car, smh. I If your a Toyota/Lexus truck fan, you’ll understand.
Hard pass on a land cruiser for me. I would not have bought an expedition 4 years asp but they have stepped their game up. Not to mention, no other suv offers a standard 375 hp, 470 lb feet of torque. The performance is much better than any Toyota could do.
