Ikr. I would've loved to have gone to both weddings

I can as it is a fun job but can be stressful just like any job.

I have been a bridal consultant in the Bay Area for over twenty years! I adore my job. During Covid we didn’t have work. I missed it. I have seen ALL types of weddings and every type of bride. From mountain top weddings, winery, beach, and everything else!

I've worked customer service for 8 years now, and being a bridal consultant (and now manager) has been the best by far!

So that's why they allowed dogs in the salon. They're highly trained.

Putting clothes on animals pleases the owner, not the dog. It also makes them more likely to be attacked by another dog..

People who have weddings for their pets have more money than sense

I know its for charity but its a shocking nonsense in my opinion..

Yeah I'm pretty sure Piper said "heck no" to the dress. I've yet to meet a dog that wants to be clothed. Even when it's for their own good, like when it's extremely cold outside, dogs don't tend to really enjoy it.

Awww … sounds so pretty - I have you beat - senior prom (aka “the prom”’- pre junior prom these days!) all pink - soft, light pink Gunne Sax with yards of tulle and so perfect with carnations in my hair to match! Date wore a pink rose boutineer and those were the days my friend! Days of Sun In and The Go Go’s! 😹🫶🏻👗🌸

Someone put a link to the wedding in the comments and she did have on red dress pumps and she wore a red necklace. After the wedding, she changed to white sandals to dance in----looked like they had flowers on them. She looked cute.

That would make her look like a bridal version of Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.

I do Wonder about the logistics of it, and the calculations of all the investments. How much must each ticket have cost to justify a whole wedding ?

Why would she need to tell her she found another dress she likes?

@@michellekay1207 Because she'd be subconsciously comparing every dress she tried to the one she bought. This would waste everyone's time since Diana would have no idea about this and would be left in the dark as to why the dresses weren't landing. If Diana knew from the beginning about this other dress, at least she's be able to bring in comparable dresses and thus, it would be a much more productive appointment since everyone is on the same page.

My skin gets that way when I try on clothes or even press it too hard- bright red and splotchy. I cannot imagine what I'd look like after trying on wedding gowns with all the material and the beading/lace etc.

I didn't think of that, maybe they filmed that part after trying on the dresses. 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Some people have too much money.

It is embarrassing and the money they spent on the whole event could have been put towards the charity and the people there could donate anyway without all the ridiculousness.

The only redeeming thing is they were doing it to raise money for a dog rescue.

Now, now people. We don’t know that Kleinfeld’s didn’t provide the dress gratis, as their own contribution to the charity event. Oftentimes the costs of venues/catering are paid by one or two wealthy individuals and/or are a tax write-off for the establishment - so don’t judge without knowing the facts. Also, please in mind that part of the reason people hold these fêtes is to increase awareness and enthusiasm for the cause - thus ensuring continued support. And in this case they were successful - the event received television coverage, and likely had write-ups in the press.
