This BROKEN Squier Jazzmaster needs some serious HELP!

Are we having fun yet? Are we not entertained? Guitars are the coolest things. Nice work bringing that one back to life. Another rescue well done. Have one VM, a 2007 fat strat. Has DD pickups came stock, the two single coils are stacked so no hum. Kinda weird though, sometimes I like them sometimes I don't but they are staying in to keep the guitar all original except for changing the plastic hdwr for a different color and a set of Allparts locking tuners. Cheers!

The pots should be 1meg for volume and tone on the lead circuit with .22 cap,and on the rhythm circuit,1meg volume pot and 50k on the tone with .33 cap

I've heard so many great things about Squire even from the professional guitarist..I have 2021 High end Epiphones but I really need to check out the Squires

And there I was wondering if a regular P90 would fit a JM cover. Can't complain about my CV Jazzmaster's bridge pickup overall, but if I ever have an urge to tinker... Bloody good job on the guitar.

Never understand why people sand the squier decal off, not like you're fooling anyone. They've made some wicked guitars over the years, some squiers play as well as fenders. I've had a fender duosonic and a fender mustang and neither played as well as the squier cyclone I had nearly 20 years ago.

I'll never understand people sanding off the headstock, no one cares its how you play it at the end of the day.

Ah, the famous, electrical tape. Just gotta love the love it. FYI, nothing like going through a professional wire job and finding a glob of sticky electrical tape. Good video for people wanting to learn.

I bought the same I couple of months ago. And seems that model in white has tons of problems. Was on a chats and we alls was saying they had the same troubles. For me it was the worst guitar ever. I went back and exchange it . Didn’t want to put any cash on it.
