About Escape from Tarkov
Escape from Tarkov is a hardcore and realistic online first-person action RPG with MMO features developed by Russian Saint-Petersburg-based game developer, Battlestate Games. Rebuyer is currently lvl39. He has 15 AWOL’s, 10 run throughs, and like 10 disconnects (padding k/d). He has 175hrs and more than half the achievements, every time I look him up, he’s naked.

I have 4.8k hours. There's still a few maps I feel uncomfortable on. Simply because of how good I know you can be by playing a certain map a lot. Knowing good spots for angles or to overlook areas can make it so that you win fights you had no business winning.

I’m a scav player and I agree 100% back in the day scav was rough, I just liked to go in with nothing and try to kill bosses or a chad. The rep made it too easy to get rich

Several hundred hours in tarkov total here, i still dont play around on reserve or streets ever. I can operate on reserve as i did it for quests but i could never get streets to work right.

Scaving only into random maps is a great idea i think. 600ish hours and i only know 4 maps well enough to play. Would love to learn the other maps AND get fred roubles at the same time

how about if you want to learn a map you just scav into that map, take your pmc in or go into offline. why should we be forced to do anything. I'll be honest, I do agree with your take with scaving, but to say it used to be somewhat difficult to make money in this game is cap lol. It was even easier to make money pre found in raid, no marked and cursed so you could hatchet run, marked rooms were absolutely insane with weapon cases and such. I do think that not being able to pick the map would be helpful to get players out of their comfort zone.

Bro that happened to me yesterday. FOUR! Rushed me in the med room in crackhouse. Literally died because they wasted all their ammo spraying the door first so I couldn’t weapon swap. Absolute shitters. The pissboys threw a smoke grenade and then rushed me like the goons, I killed 3 and died to the last one just like Tery 🤦🏾‍♂️

I don't think scaving is so bad when you consider anyone without an upgrade version using just an alpha pack is thoroughly fucked when trying to get through early tasks. I've personally gone through customs at least half a dozen times killed 12+ scavs and 1 or 2 PMCs and consistently cannot make it out with the machinery or unknown key quest items add on to that not having a keychain I either have to risk a CMS and Salewa every run, which are a pain in the ass to get without the flea or I have to fight the scav battalion that attacks me every time without any healing. IDK what it is but I feel like having to fight my way through 10+ scavs every raid just to get the pocket watch is insane. I say this as someone with under 100 hours and most of which have been spent scavving to recuperate from these cancer quests.

Put in like 50 hours the last couple weeks new player, i have a good idea of woods, customs, interchange, shoreline, streets XD. Atleast know how to get to extracts on all of em.

I literally have like 1300 hours in the game and I still don't know the bunker on reserve, the inside of interchange, labs nor streets. The thing is that I NEVER play alone so I'm kinda like just following my friends so I don't have to learn the maps. Also my pc is dying while trying to run this game so I hardly ever go to streets or reserve.

Its crazy. You have half the Tarkov community thinking everyone is a cheater whenever they get killed. But then when you show evidence of an obviously sus player, all of a sudden that "everyone's cheating" mentality goes out the window. People are crazy.

750 hours and I have played reserve only as scav 😂 iv been improving though, went from maybe getting 1-2 scav kills as a scav…. Now I go in as a pmc and my last 2 solo raids iv got 10 plus kills and some were pmcs!

Random map scaving seems dumb since people would feel like they got scamemd when they (repeatedly) get factory while somebody else gets streets, the difference in loot is too wild. Like I agree where the idea is coming from, but I dont think thats THE solution.

Its utterly disturbing how he didnt insurance dump his friends mk, but his own 7.62. Then he picks up the 5.45 ak and dissembles it only to assemble it again dump its mags keeping the only mag in the gun with 15 ammo. Then picks up the 7.62 ak proceeds to put it in the bag and picks up two mags for it which doesnt fit the 5.45 his holding with half full mag only. While the secondary is basically empty. And just runs around with 15 ammo

No it isn’t scav is too often and you are in raid way too early simple as that. You think it’s balanced that you can spawn on a scab in Lexos at 40 minutes and the guy that spawned mall is still sprinting on an sj6 to even compete yeah sure it’s a streamer take bud 👌 You think it’s okay that with my game knowledge I can make a mil/scav on every map apart from factory and have absolutely zero competition? You are just a walking skill issue if you think this is a streamer take

i have 2100 hours in tarkov still cant kill the goons or most bosses. If you have 50 hours and meta gear and wipe the bosses you are guaranteed hacking no doubt about it. Edit: also scaving back in the day was easy unlimited killing unlimited bags, unlimited guns so on and so forth, now you see a player you better hope they're a PMC or you're screwed, they might not give to cheeses but you will so if they shoot you well you're dead anyway but yeah, scavs now are just death runs where as before it was "damn im down and out right now let me make some quick money" and boom you had enough for a kit again or re-ran the scav stuff because it was basically new anyway scaving before was way better then it is now

On top of that you tend to report people with less than 1000 hours if they seem even a little bit good at the game. Other games can give you good game sense even in a game like tarkov. I get most of my game knowledge from watching videos and put those tips and tricks to use that I've learn and because of that I'm actually doing good this wipe. I have 600 hours and a 66% surv rate and 10 kd. While previous wipes I was shit on.

i have 5436 hours, this game has 2 decent maps reserve and labs, you cant scav on labs so i scav only on reserve, i know zero extracts for scavs on other maps, once i unlock max traders i never play any of dogshlt "maps", this wipe mb i would play mall map cos its finally not pitch black shlthole, game is dogshlt the only reason it still not dead, all other devs cant comprehend how to make a proper clone without all dogshlt mechanics dogshlt in their games, or trying to reinvent the wheel and fail

bc of armour changes you straight up don’t even need good ammo anymore, but if you go on streets or lighthouse scavs can spawn at high loot areas before PMCs can even get there. It’s blatantly overpowered, especially if you have max scav rep.

@@r.m2072 you dont need to play like a virgin to enjoy tarkov, that's just actual cope. my whole point is scavving is absolutely overpowered now that you don't need good ammo, and having max scav rep you can literally permanently scav without playing PMC at all, all the while getting to high loot areas before PMCs. that's just blatantly unfair to people who have jobs but are trying to get quests done or bring their best kit to prove to their friends they don't have gear fear, then they just die to 5 player scavs on Streets all rushing any gunfire.

@@B1gandTasty no the point of scavving is definitely just so people who are down on their luck can make money to keep playing. i'm like 99% sure that's why they added it. it's just evolved into killing PMCs with free kits bc you can literally perma-scav if your scav rep is high enough, which is why it's so overpowered. just go streets, rush any gunfire, you'll probably have a scav squad all doing the same thing. if you die, go upstairs and get some water, do a couple stretches and your free kit is back up. no need for PMC or paying to run good gear.
